:?Strongly disagree, holyfield has one of the greatest chins of all time

Then again I posted way back that Tyson had little more than a punchers chance. This was back when in had Tyson at about 16 on my heavyweight list so its understandable.

I still favour Evander. If were talking prime for prime, then that would be evander boxing tyson all night occasionally trading and going all out late on Personally I feel if holy does that then he either stops him late or wins a close UD. If Holyfield trades from the start I think he gets dropped and goes into survival mode to early and loses a pretty wide UD or gets stopped early.

    tyson win

why? first the ref shoulöd deduct point for to many headbutts and second, tyson breaks holyfield down. close but he should win this one.

Prime-for-Prime almost isn't a fair match-up. Holyfield has nothing to beat Tyson with. '96 Holyfield may of been the best version to deal with any Tyson, if only in this particular H2H.

A far more intriguing match would be the fight that didn't happen in 1991 when Tyson had severely slipped defensively and could be hit much easier. Even then, he took bombs from a 228-238 Razor Ruddock and treated them as if they were glancing blows: hooks, uppercuts, straight rights, the hybrid 'smash'. Holyfield wasn't even 210lbs at this point. I'd definitely see Holyfield lasting through and winning several rounds as Tyson's work rate begins to slow, but is ultimately battered to a close decision loss.

Holyfield is the superior fighter. Tyson could fight him 10 times and win once.

Tyson by way of murder, holyfield would want to slug with tyson as he did bowe and he would end up staring at the ceiling

Exactly how I see it. I envision more of a back and forth battle in '91 with Tyson's power stunning Holyfield throughout. Holyfield's workrate would match Tyson's but the power isn't there to do damage like Ruddock did. I lean towards a 9th round TKO for Mike but a hard fought decision is very plausible.

Prime for prime Holy gets blasted out.

The farther Tyson got away from Rooney the better Holyfield's chances were.

I'd honestly give Holyfield a better chance in the rematch after Tyson beats him decisively in their first fight, H2H.

Tyson, because he's a HW. Holyfield was a CW in his prime.

Holyfield is a nightmare for Tyson.

Evander had an unbreakable will. He wasn't afraid to hit Tyson back.

There's technical reasons that I'm far too tired to go into, but the core point is that Holyfield's chief advantage, was also one of Mike's weaker attributes.

Does "prime Holyfield" mean the "Holly Evanderfield" who was ordering PEDs through the mail?
