I'd favour a prime Lewis over any version of Tyson. Too fast with his hands, too big, too strong, and too clever to throw out a lazy jab so Tyson could slip it and get into his comfortable range and get his own big shots off. Same result as the actual fight, but possibly earlier.
Tyson KO within 6. Let's not forget Mike used a great jab to get inside and throw people over. Lennox is getting countered and KOd. Mike was too fast, relentless, and durable. Lennox isn't pulling a Douglass, and MIke wouldn't have any self doubt.
Tyson was FULL of self doubt from the moment he could speak. Plus in his own words ( drivel ) " That mutha****a always tried to intimidate me, always tried to bully me, always disrespected me. He's lucky I didn't have my real crew with me at that time, or he wouldda had a bullet in his mutha****in head " blah, blah, blah I'll leave it to his idiot fanboys to expand on that garbage. Lewis could NEVER EVER lose to a muppet with that level of stupidity.
Lennox would have knocked him out. He had the perfect style for Tyson. 1986-88 Tyson vs 1997-2000 Lewis, Lewis win 9/10.
Rahman 1. THIS IS NOT 2002 TYSON. He's not gonna be standing there plodding forward. Pull your head out of your ass. THere is no way Lewis is KOing one of the most durable ferocious fighters in their prime.
Ill be surprised if he even gets into the ring with him. Lewis 'I dont ever want to fight this guy (Tyson), hes an animal'. Talking about their sparring session in their younger days. There seems to be this mythical story that somehow Lewis managed to turn things around when they were sparring and got the better of Tyson. This story actualyl refers to Frank Bruno who also sparred Tyson. (BBC Documentary from '89 available on youtube). Lewis never handled Tyson in sparring, Tyson beat the sh*t out of him. The guy who did 'handle' Tyson in sparring was Holyfield Look at how cautious/weary Lewis was of the corpse of Tyson in 2002, does that look like someone who had handled Tyson in sparring? compare that to Holyfields performance in 96.
Source? The people who were actually in the room said Tyson did well in the beginning but Lewis took control as the sparring progressed.
Go away, you fool. Lewis could SMELL fear and cowardice from a hundred yards away. He smelt it when they sparred as teenagers, and he could smell it every time he was in the same building as the scumbag. That is why your little hero SCREAMED LIKE A STUCK PIG about Lennox ALWAYS intimidating him, ALWAYS disrespecting him. That's also why he AVOIDED him until he was FORCED to fight for the kind of money that only a Lewis fight would generate at that stage of his circus type career.
Watch the video of the Tyson/Bruno documentary on youtube before their first fight. The exact same story is attributed to Frank. And Lewis' own comments from the Tyson/Lewis HBO doc, 'I dont want to fight this guy, hes an animal' Why say that if you've easily handled him? Sorry the Lewis handled Tyson story has become a popular myth just like the one about Tyson not wanting to fight Foreman. Completely unproven.
But unlikely to go awat anytime soon. It would be a great fight in their primes and would be tough for either to win. I would go for Tyson though, I just think his faster handspeed would be enough to negate the long reach of Lewis to connect often enough to wear him down for the win.
