If it took Lewis 150 power shots against a shot Tyson, how can you logically assume that it would be a case of who lands first. Lewis would have to land just as many and we've all seen Lewis dropped by a single punch. Cleanly KO'd. Mike had to be beaten half to death to be stopped.
A no brainer here Lewis would have won too BIG toO strong for Tyson, and MT couldn't deal well with height, and LL was a BIG 6-5 Tyson wouldn't have been able to intimidate LL either, if Buster Douglas kicked a prime Tyson's ass, Lewis would have had a field day with Tyson LL was Worlds above Douglas.. Lewis KO 7..
Prime vs. Prime each guy would have nearly a 50/50 chance to win. My head says that Lewis would win via a decision victory against Mike. My Heart feels that a prime & motivated Tyson would have a good chance to catch Lewis with multiple fast shots. His head movement would have frustrated Lewis, and Mike's ability to take massive damage would enable Mike to overcome the reach of Lewis (potentially) enough times to land something. Lewis is not known for coming up from the Canvas if he goes down! If Rahman can KO an unmotivated Lewis, surely a prime Tyson could potentially do the same to a prime Lewis! It's hard to picture Lewis knocking out a PRIME Tyson. I do agree that Tyson had a very short prime compared to Lewis.
tyson was well past his prime when he fought douglas..he had already regressed to little more than a big banger who traded on his aurua of invicibility and power..teh head movement, the ring generalship, all eroded away to the point where an, albeit inspired, buster douglas could take him out...
Yeah that was a pretty idiotic post Actually you see a lot of them in any Tyson thread. Anyway, I pick Tyson by KO but it is a good fight and Lewis could win. 12 rounds is too long for Lewis to avoid him and I don't think he had the movement/agility to avoid Tyson.
Pretty idiotic considering a much faded, and overall uninterested Tyson lasted 8 with him Anyway, Minto beats both these guys with his eyes closed.
Doesn't mean he would go longer in his prime. Actually it's idiotic to think a prime Tyson would go longer than 8 considering Douglas sparked Prime Tyson in 10, and we both know Lewis is a better fighter than Douglas right? BTW, has Minto agreed to and pulled out of a fight with Haye yet? I'm losing track of the names.
