Tyson by UD. He's like Tua, only better. Although I would say that Tua could take a piece of Mike that he would never get back if he landed some bombs.
Love the Tyson groupies... Hey, Tyson was short. The fact that he was only two inches taller than Tua means a lot. Tua was used to facing 6'3", 6'4", 6'5" guys. For once, he'd be facing a guy close to his own height. I wasn't saying Tyson was shorter, I was saying the fact that he wasn't towering over Tua helps.
I would favor Tyson. It would be interesting though. Both are tough and both hit hard. I think Tua is tougher but Tyson is more skilled and quicker. Hard to say who hits harder.
There's more to a fight than just how the fighters matchup physically. There are intangibles as well, especially when you're dealing with an emotionally unstable bully like Mike. If Mike couldn't blow someone away, he got frustrated. This cannot be denied. He often got away from the fundamentals at that point. That too, cannot be denied. He also failed to KO weaker-chinned fighters than David Tua. Once again, undeniable. I'm saying, that once Mike realizes he can't blow David away, he loses his composure and gets hit... HARD. And eventually, Tua stops him. Saying "But Tyson hit hard" or "he was a beast" or "he was fast" has nothing to do with Mike's psyche. Tyson didn't face anyone with Tua's combination of durability and mental toughness until Holyfield (and Douglas, although he could apparently only summon that toughness for one fight).
Hey chump !!! he didn't say he know's no one hits harder then tyson he said in my opinion no one hits harder. it's his opinion doesn't mean he know little of boxing :-( atsch
If his opinion has no base in reality then it is worthless. Tyson did not hit harder that George Foreman for example I cannot even say how a case could be made for Tyson hitting harder than Foreman thus he dosen't know much about boxing.
:huh :huh :huh i think your trying to say :think well know one could ever know who hit harder unless some one fought both fighters inthere primes . although power is the last to go it does become less pontnet as the fighter ages hence the drop in Ko percentage
The difference is that my opinion is based on fact while yours is based on how much you like the fighter.
Foreman outweighed Tyson and weight is a major factor in punching power which is the reason they have weight divisions in boxing. Formean used his power in single shots, he wasn't much of a combination puncher as Tyson was. Tyson used his speed and combinations to knockout opponents. Foreman with his clubbing style would put fighters down or at least severely hurt them with single punches hence why he has more power.
Not only did Foreman hit harder than Tyson so did Lennox Lewis:deal if anyone would like to disagree with im please watch the 2002 fight when LL DROPPED mike on his ass:yep Remember after that fight when Mikey said "im just DAMN LUCKY lennox didn't kill me in there LL looked like he eased up with Tyson in that fight, to avoid seriously hurting him..
