I think Tyson would eventually chop him down with body work and overwhelm him with handspeed.

    But it mightn't be easy!

Well Tyson lost a few fights in his time and as we all know VITLAY was never beaten in the ring. VITLAY KO1.

Yeah i think its a tougher one to call than most people would think, you have vitali leaning back with his ram rod jab and big right hands. Tyson bobbing and weaving his way in, both have got very good chins and both are big bangers.

I don't think the intimidation factor of tyson would help against klitschko, the way it did against a lot of tyson foes i.e spinks/ stewart etc....

    real tough one

It's a terrific hypothetical. I chose Vitali, because I think his style, particularly his akward stance would get him through the early-round onslaught. But beating a prime Tyson would likely have required a TKO/KO, so if it went the distance I would actually favor Tyson. But I'm going on the assumption that this would be a 12 rounder; in which case I take Vitali by KO/TKO in the 11th.

Thats the thing its the awkwardness and the sheer size of vitali that i think gives mike troubles, but contry to popular beleifs vitali can be hurt. Tyson is the master of getting inside and with the speed of his footwork i see him getting inside and landing some hooks and closing the show.

Im only 60/40 for tyson in this one, if you watch the tucker fight and mitch green etc vitali certinaly has his chances and tysons chin is far from impregnable.

I would never pick Tyson against a skilled, disciplined big. In addition, I would never pick Tyson against a skilled, discipline little either (Liston, Frazier, Holyfield).

In matchups of ATG's or the tier below, Tyson is at the bottom of the H2H rankings. He has way too many limitations.

vitali wins he will take a punch and has the power to put tyson down i think he keeps tyson off him with his long reach and puts him down and out in the 10th
