Vitali never beat a fighter who was as great as Tyson while Tyson beat quite a few fighters with a better resume than Vitali. That means Tyson is far more proven than Vitali. I never take an unproven fighter over a proven one.

Chose points on the poll by accident. I reckon Vitali breaks Tyson down and stops him in the later rounds, not without some scares though.

Klitschko has exactly what it takes to beat Tyson. Size, a jab, and a chin. Tyson never beat anyone with those three things.

I love how the logic changes in the second half of the point.

Yes, Vitali never beat a fighter as great as Tyson.

But that goes both ways and Tyson never beat a fighter as great as Vitali. Tyson's best 3 wins are a semi retired light heavyweight, a semi retired ATG, and Razor Ruddock. None of the 3 come close to Vitali.

tyson circa mid to late 80's wins on points if not stoppage. vitaly is huge, somewhat skilled, hard to ko, and smart so this would not be an early ko for tyson. however, tyson's speed and skill would negate reach (and some strenght) advantages of klit to allow for tyson clear ud win at the least.

A prime Tyson was certainly a Small heavyweight by today's standards but I still think he would've used his head movement to get inside and land some monster uppercuts on the 6'8 VK. Tyson KO!

I'd additionally like to add that in the two times in his career Vitali faced a world class opponent, his body failed him.

not true that not of his opponents had all three. the difference is that vitaly has freakish size. nonetheless, tyson is too fast for the steelhammer and tyson will outland the guy, i don't know how that is in doubt. i think everyone picking vitaly (whose best performance is a hard fought but not a tehcnically sound loss to an older, undertrained lewis) is basing their pick upon tyson - douglas or his late 90's and 2000's performances.

I don't rate Tyson as high as most people. I'd pick him to beat Wlad, but ont Vitaly.

No way does buster douglas ever ko vitali :patsch don't over rate buster on his one great night for god sake.

That was an under motivated and half crazy half trained tyson with an inexperianced corner.

Mate there is a reason douglas was a 40/1 under dog :think and what makes you think berbick could beat him and let alone ko him because he beat a 40+ ali on points and even then he lost the first 3 rounds. The same berbick that lost to jimmy thunder:rofl carl williams the afore mentioned douglas, ko'd in 1 by mercado, holmes (no disgrace) renaldo snipes, st Gordon you must really under estimate V Klitschko

Is that the same ruddock who was starched in 2 by Lewis yet was all that tyson could handle ?

    #

Bone crusher smith ko him you have got to be joking now :yep

This is a close fight and your is a terrible post :smoke

p.s i voted for tyson, but that was a stupid post lol

Those who voted for Vitali are simply ******s and dont know **** about boxing. When Peter finally KO's Vitali and ends the crazy hype maybe we can have a better forum here.
