Seems like it's not that tough a call , but I agree with the part of your post that is quoted above. No way is 'Dr. Iron Fist' intimidated by the mighty 'Iron Mike'. I think Tyson's best chance would be a quick KO. The giant Vitali has some smarts to go along with his gigantor-frickin'-Soviet-genetic-experiment-gone-awryness. If Big Klit' survives the first 4 rounds (which I find to be very likely) he would just continue to jab and hold and lay on Mike (much like Lennox did) til' Mike was tired. Then he would unload a mighty fusillade of giant, straight nuclear bombs and knock poor ol' 'Iron Mike' the f**k outta' there!!

Vitaly 'Dr. Iron Fist' by brutal KO in 9!!

 none of those guys would KO vitali.

The only one of them that is any good out of all of those is holyfield, whom Tyson lost to twice.

This fight is hard to call for me, I do see people writing VK off too easy. He does seem prone to injury, so a prime Tyson obviously has that chance. The problem for me is, every fight ive seen a prime Tyson in, his opponents were afraid of him or past their best. Vitali would not be afraid IMO, and would pose big problems being big, strong, good chinned, awkward style... Though there is no fighter in history Tyson wouldn't have a chance to KO, I see Vitali giving him a lot of trouble, its a 50/50 fight for me.

Uhh, don't you mean Glass Jaw Roy? He was the king of handpicking and running from opponents.

I'm sorry, I must have been forgetting Calslappy cleaning out the 175 division and then taking a heavyweight belt.

Roy didn't clean out the 175 Division and he HANDPICKED John Ruiz the worst beltholder at the time. I don't care about Calzaghe but to act like he handpicked opponents and Jones didn't is laughable. At least Calzaghe has a Chin and is not scared to fight punchers.

So you think that Calslappy has faced guys that hit harder than Ruiz? Interesting.

Oh **** yeah DM, I'd forgotten about him, as has pretty much everyone else. Must have been him getting owned by a guy that didn't even win a round against Jones :good

Go and look at Ruiz KO record before he fought Glass Jaw Roy. He had not had a KO in over 3 years. The Roy nuthuggers try and make Ruiz out to be some power punching KO artist which we all know he is not. Ruiz is garbage and he was handpicked by Glass Jaw Roy because of this.

You originally said Calzaghe was a handpicker and avoided fights I showed you that Glass Jaw Roy also has a very detailed history of doing that also. I was never taking up for Calzaghe.

I don't doubt that Jones picked the easiest HW champ out there to beat to win his title, the point is that he did win that title and fought at HW when it was way above his natural weight. Calslappy never moved up in weight until his last fight and got knocked down with the first meaningful punch that was thrown. I suspect had Calslappy fought at 175 for as long as Jones did, or if he moved up to HW he'd have been knocked out more times than Jones ever has, yet Jones has a glass jaw according to you :nut

You never answered the question either - has Calzaghe ever faced an opponent that hit as hard as Ruiz does? Forget Ruiz KO record just answer the question. Jones moved up and took heavyweight punches and heavyweights hit harder than super middleweights, correct?

Before you answer that one I must remind you that in practically every David Haye thread on this site you've piped up with him not being able to take a heavyweight punch because he's been rocked at cruiserweight, so logically you must believe that heavyweights hit harder because they are bigger.
