Prime Tyson vs Prime Vitali

When Mike feel that Vitali don't react at his best shot, he is gonna lost his mind, try to eat white meat of Vitali's ear, and after that , he is being knocked out.

 

I wouldn't say it's a forgone conclusion that tyson would win. When they met, Tyson looked so small it was ridiculous. Vitali isn't so slow himself, although obviously Tyson could move like no one else.

 

I really wouldn't call Prime Mike unbeatable. We saw what happened against Douglas. Yes, that a prime Mike.

there are people here that claim Tyson was out of his "Prime" when he was 24. It would be an interesting fight for sure.

I never got on Vitaly for the injury.. if you're hurt you're hurt. This is a sport. It's inspiring when a fighter goes thru hell for the victory but I, for one, don't want to see anyone seriously injured or killed in the ring. I've been ringside for two or three deaths already. Boxing is no joke and there is no shame in staying on your stool when you know you can't win. That being said, Vitaly doesn't have the tools to deal with a prime Tyson, unfortunately Tyson's prime was very brief and we never really saw what he could do because he imploded due to horrible personal decisions and that definitely affected his ring performance in a HUGE way.

ummmm.... what planet are you from? Prime Tyson had VERY quick feet, fantastic head movement, fantastic handspeed and punched in short, sharp and powerful combinations. He was a relentless, non-stop attacker. Even with his little short arms he could jab with damn near anybody and come in behind that job with brutal body punches which he would immediately take upstairs. How the hell is a slow footed guy who only throws 1-2 combinations going to deal with a guy like Tyson, who could do EVERYTHING and get you out of there with one shot? If you were a cutie with a good jab you could try to keep from getting knocked out by staying way outside and clinching when he came in, but that wouldn't win you the fight.

As crazy as it sounds, his prime was probably over by the time he was 22, which is when his personal life got crazy, he got on the meds, ran his car into a tree etc and so on. imho he was best at 18-20, before he got any money. With a better head on his shoulders, he would have only gotten better up til probably at least 30 years old and I can't even imagine what that would have been like.

 

Prime Tyson is very beatable. Remember when that turd Buster Douglas beat the **** outta him?
