prime tyson vs the rivals of prime holmes

Aside from his huge punch I wouldn't call Shavers "quite good". Aside from that one extraordinary thing I'd say he was pretty mediocre. I give him some credit for the power but I think he's a completely overrated contender.

It would be like having a bullet without a gun iin that fight. In other words-useless.

 

I'm trying to figure out which opponent of Holmes would give Tyson the most trouble. And I would say the Bonecrusher coming off the 1st round win over Spoon was closer to prime than the one who fought Holmes. I guess Tim Witherspoon would give Tyson some good rounds before going out like Pinklon Thomas did. And I would have loved to see Tyson-Cooney.

 

I think Witherspoon, Shavers, Cooney, McCall, Mercer, and Butterbean would give Mike the most problems imo. Witherspoon with his chin and versatility, Shavers with his big punch, Cooney with his height and power, and mercer for his chin.
