youre underrating prime tyson man, he was very skilled, fast with very heavy hands, not some wild ko artist with no skills.
Unfortunately for wlad tyso would make it an inside fight and stop him.
Wlad is a good fighter but he doesnt match up well vs tyson, there is no shame in that.

Many sports writers, trainers as well as others have called Tyson one dimensional, not that it matters because he clearly was. As for club fighter, yes that was a bit off but he really fought like a world class club fighter thus my comment.

Props to Wlad for dominating his era, and he does have a very effective, if not exactly exciting style. However, at his best Tyson wins this one all day long. At his peak Iron Mike had a fantastic ability to close the distance, with great movement, hooks and uppercuts, and body punching. Once inside he would land a couple of big bombs and Wlad would get disorganised, panic and then get KTFO. The intimidation factor would also be at play here, Tyson instilled utter fear into his opponents early in his career and I think Klitschko would be fearful going into this fight, and that would have a marked effect (see Tyson vs Spinks).

Tyson got to a tall opponent in Bouster Douglas but Buster fought back and stopped Tyson. Once Wlad gets hit though its all over, he hasnt got the same heart, he crumples under pressure. Tyson KO in 5

Tyson is exactly what Wlad doesn't want, he's everything to give the guy nightmares.

They were huge rivals, they couldn't stand each other for a long while, Lewis genuinely didn't like him.

I suppose you think Wlad is just a robot because Haye said so?:patsch

I dont like that argument that tyson loses to big guys or that he wins if someone isnt scared, it isnt true at all.

tyson blows wladimir away in 2 to 3 rounds. he'd push wlad on the back foot.. and he can't fight there. easy win.

i suppose wlad's the best fighter at heavyweight in history now he's beaten a blown up cruiser with a broken toe?

i suppose he'd beat foreman, lewis, holmes etc etc?

wlad's good, but he's not that good.

yes but he'd have to deal with that pressure for more than 7 rounds at least. Tyson can be knocked out, but you have to beat the crap out of him first
