So coming forward and always looking to attack is "pussd out"? Povetkin was only dropepd once LEGITIMATELY and that was the first time he was ever dropped in around 200 amateur + pro boxing bouts combined. The only boxer who showed a better chin against Wlad was Mariusz Wach. Otherwise, Povetkin has an ATG chin. Some say Mike Tyson has an ATG chin (when he's been brutalized multiple times by not even powerful punchers). If that's the case, then Povetkin has a greater case for having an ATG chin.
Watch ruddock fights…Povetkin did not lay it all on the line, and I was rooting for Povetkin vs Wlad…McCall had atg chin, Ray Mercer too…Randal Tex Cobb some would say…Povetkin has good chin, not great…
Razor Ruddock has been stopped / knocked out 5 times. Ray Mercer has been dropped by a feather fisted Holyfield. And was also dropped by Wladimir Klitschko. Randal Tex Cobb never faced a puncher has hard hitting as Wladimir Klitschko in his life. I will give you Oliver McCall. But Ray Mercer at best, has an equal chin with Povetkin. Povetkin never 'ran' against Wlad as you implied. He was clinched, leaned on and exhausted whilst taking a beating but still lasted 12 rounds against a guy who is one of the hardest hitting heavyweights of all time. And Povetkin moved forward, whilst walking into Wlad's punches for most of the fight. If that's not a 'great' display of 'chin', then I'm not sure what is. Look at what Wlad did to Alex Leapai who was knocked out by fewer punches and then compare that to Povetkin, who had the chin to take more punches. If want to claim anybody 'ran' from Wladimir Klitschko, then that's David Haye. But Povetkin did anything but 'run'. Despite fighting out of sheer exhaustion for 12 rounds.
Many of Wachs country men were allowed to box pre-1990. The following were Olympic gold medal winners - Józef Grudzień 1964 Jan Szczepański 1972 Zbigniew Pietrzykowski won Bronze in 1956 and Silver in 1960 losing to Ali. Janusz Gortat won Bronze in 1972 and again in 1976 Benny Goldberg born in Poland turned pro in America in 1937. Mariuz Wash in this day and age when he had an easier path to succeed was not even good enough to make the Polish Olympic team as an amateur. Alexander Zolkin turned pro 1990 and was a far higher skilled boxer than Wach yet he couldn't make a name for himself since the era was too loaded with talent. You would never have even heard of Mariuz Wach in any other era.. He's not or was never a factor in this one. Its not an anomaly. He was stopped in 9 rounds by Baby Miller. He got battered in that fight and battered and stopped by Povetkin because he's a useless bum that can't box. He has a good chin but he's obviously not un-stoppable. Wlad couldn't get him out of there because he doesn't ever commit to a sustained attack and relies on single punches. He could have easily forced a stoppage if he let his hands go. Tyson would pummel Wach so badly the ref would be left with no choice but to call a mercy stoppage after 4-5 rounds.
I'm referring to the pros. Not in the amateurs. Ex Soviet Bloc boxers weren't allowed to compete in the pros. Against Miller, Wach had an injury and still was willing to continue and still wasn't dropped. And the referee stopped the fight. Remind us how many times Mike Tyson was stopped, or dropped or what happened when Mike Tyson was 3 years younger than when Wach was stopped by Jarrell Miller? Mike Tyson isn't even putting a dent on Wach. Tyson could barely even budge a Kevin Mcbride who was knocked out unconscious by Wach. In fact, Tyson isn't even reaching Wach's face to be able to even land his knockout punches in the first place. A less durable Bonecrusher Smith and Tony Tucker man handled Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson's suspect chin is going to betray him as usual. And Mariusz Wach > Andrew Golota who actually was relevant in the 1990's. So keep dreaming!
Troll status confirmed , but I'll play along anyway. Does this Louis Fernando guy not know that Botha was 46 years old , came off 4 losses (11 in total)and was in the last ever fight of his career in 2014 when he lost to Wawzryk?? Do you realize that Botha's prime was in the 1990's? Why are you such a dishonest troll? I could stoop to your level and say Whyte is greater than Chagaev because he destroyed Browne and Browne knocked Chaggy out. Thats the sort of dishonest circular logic you are forced to use to because you can't do this fairly or honestly. If Larry Holmes never met Mike Tyson he would have ended a 74 fight career without EVER being stopped. This is the same Povetkin who never fought anything like a Mike Tyson in his life but had major trouble against guys like Tatum and Marky Hock. Pudding fist Eddie Chambers nailed Pov with punch after punch as he came in and arguably won the first 5-6 rounds. No man can walk straight into Tysons ballistics without getting seriously hurt. Its why pretty much everybody he fought boxed on the back foot against him. Thats the same as saying Povetkin would easily beat Ali because he lost to Berbick. But i have no doubt you'd push that argument as well since you don't actually believe any of this , you're just a propagandist pushing a pro Klitschko agenda.
Why has Mike Tyson suddenly turned into a 6'4/6'5, southpaw with fast hands and a lightening left hand?
I like how Dildohelmet cries about Botha being over the hill but is ok with over-the hill Wach being stopped by Miller. What a two headed serpent this creep is.

Dimbo, was that Boya clown an alt of yours? You should definitely get a room if not. Maybe make it a menage a trois with your g/f herol after the wedding.
Point is, any version of Franscois Botha is a journey man AT BEST! Irrespective of how old he is. Especially when compared to someone like Alexander Povetkin. The fact that you choose to compare Botha to Povetkin is an example of extreme idiocy. It makes as much sense as me comparing Jean Marc Mormeck to Mike Tyson. Botha has been stopped 9 times in his pro career and has also been stopped by less than stellar opposition, even in his prime, multiple times. Never mind punchers. Since every time he faced a puncher, he was pretty much ALWAYS stopped. It proves nothing in relation to whether Mike Tyson would stop Povetkin when Povetkin is UNLIKE Botha in nearly every meaningful department. And unlike Botha, Povetkin was NEVER stopped in around 200 amateur + pro bouts combined. Even one of the hardest hitting heavyweights in Wladimir Klitschko failed to KO Povetkin, despite landing some good shots for 12 rounds. Mike Tyson is EXPECTED to KO someone like Franscois Botha. It's not a very impressive accomplishment to stop someone with such limited durability as Botha. The Larry Holmes comparison is invalid for a few reasons: 1) Larry Holmes isn't a KO artist and a power puncher. Alexander Povetkin is, and hits just as hard, if not harder than Mike Tyson. 2) Larry Holmes never faced a super heavyweight power puncher like a Lennox Lewis, Klitschko or a Riddick Bowe, prior to facing Mike Tyson. So we never really knew how good his chin really was against REAL modern heavyweight / super heavyweight power punchers. His chin had only been tested against powerful cruiser weights / light heavyweights by modern standard. Yet, he was still dropped by those boxers. Such as Earnie Shavers and Snipes. Boxers that are of a size and caliber that Povetkin has never been knocked down by (and probably never will). In other words, Povetkin's chin is FAR MORE PROVEN against modern heavyweight KO artists. Point is, when two power punchers face off, the one with a better and more proven chin will more likely come out on top. And Alexander Povetkin has the far more proven and better chin whilst Mike Tyson, despite being very powerful, has a very suspect chin too, that has been cracked multiple times by not even power punchers / KO artists. Alexander Povetkin had trouble in fights. Yes! Including against the likes of Eddie Chambers, Carlos Takam and Marco Huck. But he still managed to find a way to win in every one of those fights, barring his fight against Wladimir Klitschko. Proving he has the heart, toughness and the will to overcome adversity and win in tough / difficult situations. Meanwhile, when Mike Tyson had trouble in his fights, he almost ALWAYS lost. Such as against Buster Douglas, Danny Williams, Kevin McBride and Evander Holyfield. Because Mike Tyson evidently lacks the heart, courage, toughness and willingness to overcome adversity like a true warrior in Alexander Povetkin. Who never gives up! So even in this department, Povetkin has the edge! If anything, Mike Tyson never faced anybody with the combined attributes that Povetkin possesses. The closest to someone he faced that resembles Povetkin is Evander Holyfield. And Povetkin punches significantly harder than Holyfield and also possesses a much better chin. Yet, this feather fisted Holyfield took Tyson's soul away from him. Tyson didn't show any heart, willpower or determination to overcome adversity against Holyfield. Povetkin would topple what Holyfield did and would actually brutally KO Mike Tyson because he has the power to, unlike Holyfield. Alexander Povetkin vs Mike Tyson would resemble Mike Tyson's fight against Holyfield where Povetkin takes everything Mike Tyson could dish out. Takes him to deep waters and then drowns him in the later rounds where Tyson's lack of heart is exposed once and for all. Yet, Golota has nearly double digit losses compared to Mariusz Wach and has been dropped more times than one can count in their fingers and has lost to inferior opposition than the opposition Wach ever lost to. Heavyweight boxing isn't about looking pretty, sexy or aesthetically pleasing. It's about being effective and Mariusz Wach > Andrew Golota when it comes to this department. The sooner you learn this, the better!
