Tszyu cops a battering sometimes because fighters he destroyed in their prime went downhill after fighting him...

But other wins that were quite impressive were IBF world champ Rodriguez (Tszyu's 14th pro fight), undefeated Bergman (world champ) and Gonzales. Don't forget ... Tszyu went into fights against Judah and Mitchell 1 & 2 as the underdog. Mitchell hadn't been put down in eleven years. Then a 35 year old Tszyu coming off two shoulder surgeries goes 11 rounds with Hatton in manchester...and really, what other boxer at 140 can do that?

I remember Mayweather saying after that fight 'I saw the Tszyu fight...I'm not fighting him in Manchester'

So not to take anything away from Pac who is a brilliant fighter...and hasn't dodged anyone and fought great fighters. But really...he's not the style of fighter that caused Tszyu trouble. I don't even think there was a particular style that guaranteed you a victory...in both the Phillips and Hatton fights...I saw Tszyu's ego cause him more problems than anything else.

Someone said Pac is more talented, faster and dynamic. That just shows you're not very familiar with Tszyu's career outside the judah fight. Tszyu was the guy that other boxers like Mosely and De La Hoya said they liked to watch. Atlas and Chris Byrd said he was the single most talented amateur boxer they had ever seen. You could make an argument that considering all of Tszyu's boxing achievements...he is one of the most talented boxers in the entire history of the sport.

Early career he was known for a fast hook off the jab...before reputation around the right hand built up. One of the most under-rated bodypunchers you'll find...his love of headhunting gets this fact overlooked. Also one of the strongest 140 pound fighters ever...I've never heard so many opponents say they'd never been hit harder or pushed around like a ragdoll after a Tszyu fight.

So I think it's safe to say he's stronger, hits harder and is more accurate than Pac. Fought faster and slicker guys...and was never troubled by speed or movement (if fact, thrived on it). And dependant on the prime Tszyu we're talking about (I consider it the Gonzales fight) ... he's got every single punch that Pac has and delivers it with more power and precision. Pac is hittable...and if you're hittable ...then Tszyu tends to knock you out.

Make Tszyu go down to Pac's weight though...then it's Pacs territory. But Tszyu was built for 140.

Someone else said it better than me...if you're not on Tszyu's chest the whole fight...then you're eventually on your back.

Would be an absolutely brilliant fight though.

Tszyu made the internet happy with him making Judah do the chicken dance. A massive hit!

This fight wouldn't happen because Pac would ask for 90/10

    For KT
    1. If Pac hasn't fought at 140, then Pac should be immediately disadvantaged in a fight at 140, logically speaking.
    2. KT was a very strong JWW, Pac is coming up in weight.
    3. Pac has been KTFO by some no-name tomato can. KT has one punch concussive power.
    4. KT did well against southpaws

    For Pac
    1. Currently close to P4P in some people's eyes

Stylistically, this is a good fight for KT. He has a very good chin and could take almost anything Pac dishes out. The problem for Pac is he definitely couldn't take KT's punches, and that is why the fight would end in about 4 rounds. Pac gets on the inside, which isn't his style, and he gets thrown around and some solid left hooks. He stays outside and he gets whiplash from the KT right. Pac's win over ODLH is being overrated.

KT Pac would no doubt be quicker on his feet whilst darting in and out not trying to exchange to much leather, Kt will initially have a hard time catching Pac, But let me tell you one thing if he gets that sneaky fast straight right hand in, Pac will know about it and understand why so many of those who came b4 Kt tried to impose there will on him, kt has a wide stance and can pivot around one foot, he touches his opponent pawss out the right and the left then conceals that vicious right POP!! pac down but beats the count, let me tell you this pac will not get involved with KT trust me on this, he will be spitting blood and reassessing his defence stragety remebr the first JMM fight after the first round, KT hits like a truck, and keeps his opponent stunned throughout the fight, yes pac can win but not in the trench war fare, death by spaghettification,( he get stretchered out sorry pun on words lol

I said that already! KT was consistant and dominant at the top of the WW division for a long period which should be respected....HOWEVER...you didn't follow what I said in terms of SUBSTANCE!

KT really never faught a GREAT FIGHTER....He had tough battles with good or very good fighters which is fine, but he's lacking SUBSTANCE on his resume which was not lacking for Pernelle who may have not had as long a career at WW but he faught more meaningful and better fighters which is without a doubt. Overall KT has time and consistancy but Pernelle had more defining and meaningful fights as WW champion!

By me saying KT was "FAR" from the very best I'm sure rubbed people the wrong way. KT was a LEGIT and DOMINANT WW Champion and NO ONE should discredit his accomplishments. For that I apologize b/c I was only speaking about what I felt in terms of who the VERY best WW champions were.

KT is in the top 10 but someone said he was the very best. I disagreed. And I never really put much thought into who was the best of all time at WW. But off top....Pernelle to me is and was better at 140 with more claim to that title.

Pryor was a monster and I feel he'd beat KT and Pernelle.....But like KT...Pryor never had a GREAT FIGHT at 140 aside from the 2 fight with Alexis Arguello! That alone puts him ahead of KT IMO....but there are few who were as dominant and consistant as KT.....of course we have to take in consideration their level of opposition! We've had to do that with Joe C....Bhop and Roy jones Jr. So KT is no different. Unfortunately KT hasn't done what Bhop, Roy or Pernelle have done outside their natrual Weight classes which is why KT is not held in as high regard. But still....KT's career was very impressive.

I agree with you on what you are basing your cirteria on who is the best at WW! I do...but I have an extra variable that I plug in to the equation. Substance and the level of opposition you fight is very important... it keeps things in perspective and helps us to understand what kind of champion he was. YES! KT was a long standing champion, YES...KT dominated at 140 for some years and YES KT was a solid puncher/boxer with abnormal power. But he did struggle agasint certain styles and lost to fighters not on his level. Both Hatton and Phillips were not on his level! He beat very good fighters like Zab but he showed defincencies in his style or what styles would be problematic for him. And without a TRULY GREAT WIN....KT's legacy takes a hit. That's just my opinion but MANY feel that way as well.
