at only 31 yrs of age to be on the outside looking in...

 

The only reason Trinidad ended up going 12 with Vargas is because he got decked. Trinidad had to respect Vargas. That is part and parcel with Trinidad though. He always had that vunerability. Anytime we've actually seen Margarito down (rare occurance) he was right back up and right back into the brawl.

Margarito would have to hit Vargas alot to stop him but that's exactly what he'd do. When he can afford to take two to land one, he will do it. Trinidad obviously could not afford to do that. And Vargas, like Cintron, had power that came on the end of his punches. That is where Margarito would not be.

 

In my opinion, I'd have to go with Vargas winning by tko in an all out war.

 

Margarito stops him with a body shot especially now since he looks like he is gonna blow any day now.
