Prime Forrest beats every current top welterweight except Mayweather.

    Handily.

I think Forrest beats everyone. Including Mayweather.

Though I think if Matthysse was bigger, or shows to carry his effectiveness up to welterweight, that that would pose an interesting challenge for Forrest. Though Forrest would still have to be favored to win it, until Matthysse shows more improvement.

  7. Just don't put him in against any unskilled crude brawlers like Mayorga, and he should do fine.

    Forrest is good...

    Overated tho.

Dude got Blitzed by Ricardo Frickin Mayorga

    And Mora beat him...

He is good, similar level to a Tim Bradley.

    Elite skills but very beatable.

Floyd beats em, Prime Pac starches him.

I think Floyd would beat him with skill. Prime Forrest vs. 147 lb Pac is a lot tougher to call.

Biggest problem is "prime" Vernon Forrest wouldn't be able to stay prime for the whole era.

    Pacquiao woulda destroyed him.

  13. I think he would of too, did you see the state of him against a crude wild swinger like Mayorga ? Pac that fought Cotto and Margo would of been a nightmare for Forrest.

Prime Vernon would absolutely wreck guys like Bradley,D.Alexander and Broner.

Let alone guys like Berto, imagine what Vernon would do to him

147lbs division is filled with small men, I have a feeling Vernon would step on all of them, with the sole exception being Mayweather.
