I'd go with Tucker as he is better boxer, with better skills. However, Ruddock has much more punching power, and Tucker better be careful. I think prime vs prime Tucker wins comfortable decision like 117-111
I agree. Ruddock too sloppy, and Tucker clearly the better boxer. And, Tucker had a solid chin in the event that one of Ruddock's stray bombs did land. Tucker by clear decision.
I think this one goes to a decision, if Ruddock fights smart and uses his jab and boxes its a 50/50 fight and I see the decision being close either way but if Ruddock like he did in many of his fights just looks for the knock the entire time I favor Tucker to likely win the fight by a couple rounds
Tony survived the power over 12 of both Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson. Against one of them he had an injured hand while the other when he was 35 years old.. Put a prime AND healthy Tucker in with Ruddock and I don't see him getting stopped. It generally took a big aggressive puncher to finish off Razor as well. This is very likely coming down to a decision. Tony was a little bit better of a boxer and the slightly bigger man while Donoven probably pushed the action more and took greater risks.. Guess it depends on who wants it more and who's judging that evening.
Tucker by decision. Razor became too much of a plodder looking for the big shot. Tucker would dance and jab and land the occasional combination. He had the chin to take Razor's shots when he did get caught.
Tony was a strong boxer, with a pretty decent chin, and unless he enters the ring messed up, he would beat Razor by an 118-110 score.
I'm not sure Tucker ever had a prime. He was solid and he was also cautious. He was in a nip-and-tuck affair with Buster Douglas when he turned it on and got a stoppage (a better win than many credit, as Buster looked in shape and that facing that jab for 10 rounds is no bargain) ... but apart from that what did he really ever do except show well in losses? I got Razor in this one by decision, wins more rounds by landing the more telling punches while Tony lays back and does what Tony does ... which often wasn't much.
