Prime Victor Galindez vs Prime Harold Johson, 15 Rounds. Could Harold cut up Victor, stopping the fight? Or can Galindez outpunch Johnson?

Good one Richard. Two great light heavyweights and ATG entertainers. I honestly don't know if Galindez' warrior's heart or Johnson's prowess will win the fight. I certainly think Johnson would be one of a handful of light heavies that would have a chance of defeating the great Galindez.

What a great matchup!! I lean towards Johnson but could definitely see Galindez outworking him.

I don’t think their styles will lead toward an exciting fight. I would guess in a tactical and strategic chess match type of fight, I would lean towards a Johnson close decision. I do think it is close either way.

40s-50s-early 60s LHWs are the GOAT fighters.

It’s a close fight between 2 great counter punchers, although Galindez is more likely to press the action while Johnson uses his jab to find counter opportunities. Galindez seemed to be the more versatile of the 2 where he chose to engage in brawls when he wanted to depending on how the fight plays out.
For me I would favor Johnson in a close 12 round fight (7-5) but 15 rounds I can see Galindez beating and possibly stopping Johnson.

I'm erring toward a close decision for Johnson.

Likewise, I'm going close decision, but for Galindez.
