Saavedra severely outlanded Tapia and dropped him 3 times.

One judge gives Saavedra only 3 rounds

    PBC.....never change

Tapia v Mikilavich would be a good headliner for a No Limit show in Sydney.

I assume most here will be displeased with that - I seem to have seen it a little different than most though, and the cards somewhat resembled what I saw. In between getting dropped and falling about the ring, Tapia was also landing endless clean crisp bombs. I couldn't separate them.

Hard to argue against 3 knockdowns vs. 1 in a 10 rounder especially when the rounds without knockdowns were all pretty close.

Rematch is a total no brainer. Would be a shock if they don't make it next.

Where are the announcers talking about all the punches Saavedra outlander Tapia by? It's like listening to WWE with the announcers in boxing these days, just saying the narrative their employers want. Pathetic.

I would have thought if anything other than the KD he scored any rounds Tapia got must have been razor thin where as Saavedra seemed far more effective for the vast majority of the fight.
