you talk about 10 out of 10... well that's a stupid statistic to use because in boxing fighters really usually fight once and that's it.. never 10 times.
Sure norton gave Ali nightmares. but ali wasn't really in condition, and probably underestimated Norton. anyways, vitali also has two losses against byrd (he quit), and An old fat Lewis.
to even rank vitali next to these guys is just stupid. vitali hasn't done **** to get this kind of recognition. Nobodies on his resume, and washed up fighters.
If he was more proven I would be more inclinced to give him more credit.

    and the klitschko nuthugging continues.

    Peak Lewis kills Vitali

Tyson buries him into the ground.

    Ali boxes rings around him.

I think Ali would give him hell, as would a prime Lennox.

I'd like to say Holmes would but I'm not sure.

Joe Louis, however, would have an easier time than most with his great timing.

What are you basing it on? Vitali faced some heavy punchers and never been down nor he has ever been decisively outboxed a fight. You cannot proclaim the man can be easily beaten until somebody actually exposes his weakness. For all we know he has not been pushed to the limit yet even fighting with one eye against Lewis.

This is hard to say. Let's say for example Lewis in his prime walks through him, like say Ruddock or Golota, if that happened, and I'm not saying it would, but IF it did, the question would be what could Vitali do to prevent it from happening again?

Or if Ali outboxed him badly in the first fight, again, same question. So to me the first fight could pretty much determine how the other 9 fights would unfold, if it was a lopsided victory for the opponent.

Hell no. Nobody in the history of boxing would have an easy night with Vitali. That's an easy question.

No. He's an ATG. If not greatest heavyweight ever.

You're delusional. He never even won his legacy fight against Lewis, which means his most memorable fight he'll have on his record is a loss.

I have alot of respect for Vitali, I really do, he's my favorite current HW. He's got class, he's disciplined, funny guy, but as great as he is he is by no means unbeatable. I didn't become an instant fan of his like I did with Lennox. If by prime Vitali you mean when he fought a past his prime Lewis because obviously today he is not in his prime no, no one has an easy night vs him. But you also have to be fair and compare his prime with other ATG's primes, not a post 1990 Tyson or Ali that fought Spinks. The only difference I see with prime Vitali and today's Vitali is the reflexes.

I think Vitali today has lost a step or 2 and if caught he doesn't have the best balance either, at least in the later rounds. Prime for prime fighters faster than him with comparable chins like Ali, Lewis, Bowe, Holmes, Tunney could of beaten Vitali and take him into deep waters. Fighters not relying too much on the jab, but had great chins and experience getting past the jab were like Tyson and Frazier. Vitali has a counterpunching style to break his opponents down and then turns it up in the later rounds. If Byrd had his moments I don't see how the ATG HW legends couldn't beat Vitali. He'd win some, lose some. No doubt in my mind.

Prime Lennox sure would finish him in couple rounds. An out of shape, not motivated and ill prepared Lennox smashed prime Vitali in 6 rds.

If that fight was allowed to continue for 2 more rounds Vitali would have stopped Lewis. He has lewis wobbled on mumerous occasions and was dominating at points. Vitali is a class act.

Ali would **** him up real bad - tell me how does Klit deal with a man with Ali's speed and absolute granite chin and heart.... Holmes beats him on points, Prime tyson, Prime Lewis, prime Foreman.... probably even Listonheck I would suspect that he might even struggle against some of the lesser lights of the ATG HW's. Holyfield probably has a decent chance, Kenny Norton, Shavers...
