    Jack Johnson????????? :?

He would undersized, overpowered, outgunned, and his low workrate would cost him rounds and much punishment. Vitali rarely gets his clean and has a very awkward defense, and his workrate is far far higher. Johnson would be utterly dominated

ESB is a funny place, the greatest heavyweight ever....yeah and he fought so many great heavy trough his career....Kingpin, Sosnowski and 40yo Briggs are future HOF.

Prime Lewis would beat him on any given night.

im not ranking him with them, im saying if he fought them, they wouldnt have an easy night.

im not even saying he would win. but he certainly wouldnt be dominated. he would be competitive.

i care, since i started the thread.

as i said before, i dont think vitali would beat them all. but i just don't think he would be dominated by them all either.

    Vitali really isn't that good.

Stick him in the early/mid 90's when the division was really deep - he'd struggle to get past the likes of Damiani, Bruno, Mercer and McCall.

Now, with loads of fat/old/glass jawed Americans and crap Eurobums he looks fairly dominant.

Beating Vitali is possible but having an easy night with Vitali from the Danny Williams fight? Unlikely.

the question isnt about him winnin. it is about his opponents dominating him 10 out of 10. i dont think anyone could manage it.

No one would have an easy night with VK, but seriously some of the nuthugging on this thread is unbelievable.

VK fought ONE great fighter and he lost to him. Theres no excuse for this, VK was in his prime and LL one foot in retirement.

But NO according to some VK would
beat Tyson because Douglas beat him
beat Ali because Spinks beat him
beat Bowe because he lost to Golota.
    etc etc etc

    Bull****
If an old Lennox cut Vitalis face up, i hate to think what the rest would do him. There wouldnt be any need for out of 10 fights after theyre through with him.

i agree i hate nuthuggers, they do my tree in. vitali wouldnt beat ali. not 1 in 10 fights IMO.

but noone would dominate him, he is just too big and too awkward to have an easy night with.

VK is a great fighter dont get me wrong, he IS an ATG (according to me) purely based on his domination of his era which to me is the first step on achieiving greatness, quality of resume and title defenses also comes into play as well, however his is what he lacks in and thats why he belongs on a lower tier of ATGS.

Nobody would have an easy night with VK, but VK wouldnt be having any easy nights with any of the above either.

Vitali's unorthodox style would give problems to fighters of the past. It would not be an easy night.

sure... they wouldn't have an easy night but that's because vitali isn't a bum... what has vitali ever done to be competitive against other all time greats.. to me he's done nothing really.. just beat up awful competition.. and get punched up by an old Lewis.
To me he might get dominated by a few, espescially in rematches
