Vitali has a chance. But he's going to have to take a huge amount of body shots. If he commits to punches, Foreman will detonate him. Foreman actually has faster hands and he can cut the ring off. As long as it's an in-door arena and not in the outside heat I think Foreman is a favorite.

Vitali has to take body-shots. He doesn't have the mobility to out-maneuver Foreman like Young could. Imagine a Foreman uppercut instead of one from a 38 year old Lewis? Foreman punching up favors taking a bit of sting for his shots but he hits very hard. I see at least a few turn around and run away from Vitali. Foreman probably smashes the back of his head one of those times to KO Vitali.

Foreman would put him on his pockets

There's absolutely no way foreman hit harder than lewis. Lewis was much larger and threw punches with far more speed and better leverage than foreman and Vitali took the best lewis had to offer and was still fighting and not "hanging on for dear life".

Vitali also has an outstanding knockout ratio and there's zero guarantee Foreman would be able to walk through his punches. Afterall, Foreman wasn't even able to walk through Ali, Lyle's, Young's punches

Foreman also has awful technqieu and awful stamina.
    Vitali is a perfect foil.

Excellent point about the uppercuts.....Foreman threw even meaner uppercuts than Lewis did and we all saw what one Lewis uppercut did to VITLAY.

VITLAY looks great against bums that don't fight back, but every single time he's faced a guy that isn't just there to make up the numbers he's lost.

Set fire to your PC and quit right now.

Foreman was a FAR bigger puncher than Lewis, check out their respective KO percentages. I'm not a big fan of this particular stat but it's telling in this case due to the quality of opposition. Who has VITLAY ever KO'd that is more impressive than Frazier or Norton in 2 rounds? Lewis too, he never had that kind of dominance. If you think Foreman couldn't hurt VITLAY after seeing Lewis shred the bum then I don't know what to tell you.

One last thing - oh yes, VITLAY WAS HANGING ON FOR DEAR LIFE in that 6th round against Lewis, try actually watching the fight. VITLAY lovers cling onto this myrhical 4-2 scoreline when actually it was more like 3-3, with Lewis coming on strong. It was a 12 round fight and VITLAY had shot his bolt and he and his trainers knew it, hence their delight when the doctor did them a favour.

And vitali has a higher KO % than foreman. Lewis was a cautious fighter and was content to get decisions. Had he gone bombs away all the time he'd have a much higher ratio. It's simple ****ing physics. A 6'6 240 pound, MUCH FASTER, lewis is going to hit harder than 6'3 220 pound foreman who looped all his shots.

Vitali holds all the cards here. Foreman is disgustingly overrated by the classic forum.

Name one great fighter tyson knocked out
name one great fighter holmes knocked out
name one great fighter lewis ever knocked out.
    ETC ETC ETC.

It's a stupid ****ing argument to make.

Vitali is bigger, faster and stronger than foreman. He has a better chin. He's a better boxer. He has FAR better stamina. He would grind foreman into dust and tie him up any time he got close.

You're an idiot son, come back when you've reached puberty.

VITLAY has a (just about) higher KO percentage than Foreman in a pathetic career, with about half the fights Foreman had, with far, far shittier opposition.

Seriously, if that's all you've got then I suggest you give up now.

Tyson knocked out all time great's and hall famer's Michael Spinks and a past it Holmes, but that past Holmes went on to fight on for 20 more years and fight for title twice and it still stands as his only knock out loss.
