Vitali was almost 41 when he fought Chisora for christ sakes. Let’s not forget Fury’s two boring fights against Chisora when he was much younger than Vitali was.
Wlad might have had a longer career, and a longer list of better wins. But he wasn't better than Vitali. That was evident when big brother came back and destroyed Sam Peter. Vitali declined at end, but he was so dominant and so comfortable in most of his title defensives. Injuries were the main reason he retired. He was in a lot of pain against Chisora and Charr.
One thig is for sure he would not just watch Fury Cruise to pts victory even if he was past his prime
Fury hasn't fought anyone as good as prime Vitali. Prime Vitali was almost matching Lewis. Fury's toughest opponent was ageing Wlad or Wilder. Neither of which are the same level as prime Vitali who I believe would have beaten Wlad 7/10.
I just like to see opinions on past threads and see if they changed and also because it's just fun to do. Although i think i actually did make a thread about this in the past.
Sadly you are funny. Even Pulev when he was 33 y.o and undefeated in fight vs 38 y.o Wlad did not weighted lesser than Wlad. The same is about some other his opponents who were sometimes a bit heavier and also younger than Wlad. Some opponents were small HW boxers, not all opponents.
