    Great match up!
I will pick Vitali by a clear decision.
Vitali has the size, workrate & skills to not be bamboozled by Fury & land more often than he does.

The key here is the huge difference in workrate.

Vitali has no advantages besides chin, Fury plays with him.

Agree with solution, disagree with work. Vitali did also punch harder than Fury (at least on a consistent basis), but otherwise, yeah, Fury is better at pretty much everything.

"Vitali did also punch harder than Fury"

Fury circa 2020 to now punches harder than Vitali ever did. When Fury was moving around on the backfoot maybe Vitali hit harder but even then, Fury stopped Chisora while Vitali did not. Their only other mutual opponent Kevin Johnson claimed that 2012 immature Fury hit harder than Vitali, for whatever that's worth.

Workrate is interesting. Both have great engines but Fury moves more than Vitali did, whereas Vitali tended to throw (though not necessarily land) more volume with a lazy stance.

Let's clear something up. Vitali is not Turbo Wlad. People seem to think Vitali is just Wlad but tougher. He isn't.
Wlad is faster and hits way harder.

    1. Vitali is SLOW compared to Fury.
    2. Vitali also didn't seem so good defensively when he didn't have the big range advantage and could just lean back like he did against basically all of them. Lewis fight wasn't too good for him. That hands down guard isn't going to work well against Fury I'd say.
    3. It's not even proven Vitali has more power than Fury. Look how long Vitali took to stop most of these people. Fury has more explosive finishes against high ranked fighters, really.

Fury would most likely outbox Vitali, survive any clean hits and mark up Vitali's head real bad after 12 rounds.

However, if Fury was coached by Sugar Hill and told to 'big dog' Vitali and KO him, then it's different. Then Fury could come unstuck. He doesn't necessarily lose, because he's better than Vitali, and Vitali can be hurt (Sanders did it), but that's when Vitali might be able to wear him down and get a TKO.

Man Fury isnt the GOAT, why are these hypothetical matches against proven greats always being thought of? Prime Vitali would whoop Fury's ass.

    Fury easily

Vitali is possibly the most overrated HW in a H2H sense. He has an ATG chin, but that’s it. Compared to Fury: Vitali has slower foot speed, slower hand speed, inferior footwork, worse defense, lower ring IQ, he’s even at a physical disadvantage as the shorter man with less reach.

Vitali’s punch power was overrated too; if he punches harder than Fury, it’s only marginally.

Vitali for me as he is a very hard man but then again Gypsy King is a man amongst men so you just never know.

Lets be honest he quit against Byrd & Kevin Johnson made him look stupid.. Furys better. Even Chisora was able to walk him down. Plus the Klitschkos rigged the ring etc to benefit them.. even playing field & id favour Fury.

    Now that's a good fight.

Something tells me Vitali. Tough like Wilder, great chin, big, strong and powerful more or less like Wlad, skills comparable to Fury's IMO.
