Yes, strongly agree - though really, that's always the case with a reasonably well matched fight between two heavy hitters.
Vitali beats any version of Joshua we've seen so far. We'll have to see how things progress in Joshua's career. Honestly, though, I can't see Joshua developing into a fighter who could beat Vitali. Not only did Vitali have an iron chin and serious power, he also could move and box when he wanted to. See the Arreola fight. So if Vitali wanted to stay away from Joshua all fight and box his ears off, he could. I would take Vitali head-to-head over any boxer who ever lived.
Cant believe this is a discussion, obviously Vitali, how do you discredit a close fight vs possibly the best h2h hw in history whem vitali was subbed in on 2 weeks notice, but credit a win over a 41 yr old coming off of a loss.
Maybe I should have explained myself a lot better, VK's mentality was/is very different from WK's, I honestly believe if AJ was even slightly hurt and gassing VK would have seen it and at least would have tried to stop him, pressed it more. Watching the WK AJ fight again, WK had AJ in serious trouble and AJ looked out on his feet but he is always safety first and it cost him. Also I do agree VK wasn't a monster puncher but 45 Wins with 41 KO's suggests to me he'd have enough about him to hurt most heavyweights.
he needs to watch almost every fight he spews his ignorance about. he has either never seen them, flat out lies about them, or has no idea anything about sports. i think it is the third, then the second, followed by the first.
aye haha thumbs and dreads can save a guy, though not needed when worst ever lewis beatdown prime vits inside 6 rounds. maybe with a tougher opponent, thumbs and dreds lol
hes accurate on teh subject you mean. 38 or below is the acceptable retiring age for almost hw champion in history. so that are all wrong but you are right...todddd. ha
At this stage, Vitali for sure. He was a pretty awkward guy and I know it gets said a lot but boy could he take a shot. As with the WK match, I wouldn't say Joshua would be the puncher in this match either. That said, we can only base the current AJ we see. In 5 years time we may have different opinions on the matter, though I doubt it myself
cos he was turning 38, the acceptable retirement age at most by every hw champ in history bar 1. why do you think all these hw champs were wrong about being hw champ, but u, a keyboard warrior, are right? explain why they are all wrong . ty.
The post was in response to Dinonut's assertion that Vitali has never knocked out anyone with a single punch, not about his opponent's punch resistance. Continue clutching on straws.
foreman is the exception, so now you need to explain why all the other hw champs in history were wrong to retire by that age. explain it now, ty. either they, all the hw champs, were wrong, or you are are.
thats fine for your argument but hide had a china chin, and he could be chinned with ease by a world level boxer. u have not discerned vitalis ko from any other decent boxer, if that was your aim.
