The mysticism of Bowe continues. Guy has had 3 fights with absolute bums since his so called "wins. " Dude is as good/bad as Golota and his cheerleaders coward out by claiming his "prime" lasted 3 years. I'll take a consistent gatekeeper over a boxer who's prime lasts for a second or two anyday.

 

It's interesting how some supposedly lopsided matchups become classics and even inspiration for oscar winning movies. Who would have thought that this guy could go the full 15 rounds against Muhammad Ali? And who would have thought that Joe Frazier after getting knocked around like a ragdoll against George Foreman would go on to give Ali such hell in Manilla. Just goes to show that you never know in boxing. I suppose that's why we watch.

 

Klitschko would destroy bowe. Bowe was overrated. He admitted Herbie Hide had him out on his feet, just imagine what Vitali would do

Bowe is simply a more talented fighter who, at his best, schools prime Vitali and knocks him spark out.

Easy fight to call as Bowe's size and reach takes away the primary asset that allows clumsy Vitlay to be much more than pedestrian.

Only a clown boy :blurp could imagine Vitlay (who was panicked, holding, flailing, and falling against an ldold Corrie "I Train on Donuts" Sanders in the very 1st round in a perfect example of Dr. K's relative athletic inadequacies and limitations) surviving the distance against Bowe. Prime Vitlay couldn't even make 7 against an ldold out of shape Lewis. He likely wouldn't see 5 against either a prime Lewis or Bowe (or prime Cornelius Johannes Sanders for that matter - as he was 38+ and it was only his 4th fight in the prior 48 months when he met Vitlay). VK is an incredibly overrated fighter who has defeated dismal comp and relies upon a distinct size advantage to compensate for his rather lackluster footwork, mobility, and adaptability.

Prime Vitlay gets starched by many talented fighters as long as they have enough size to offset his own. Vitlay has most of the same deficiencies (most particularly a familial genetic disposition toward "panic-itis") as Wladimir. Stunningly overrated. Was unimpressive versus Purrity, looked not unlike Wlad in portions of the fight with Corrie "If You Give Me A Hamburger I Will Gladly Pay You On Tuesday" Sanders, and while he was correctly animated and letting his hands go from the get go versus Lennox "I Have Already Climbed Every Mountain" Lewis there was a certain obvious (and sensible) fear motivating his approach that would have been torn to pieces by a prime Lewis that would have left Vitlay "Michael Grant-ed" and permanently diminished.:tomb


Vit's a "B"-ish level athlete with tremendous size in a horrible division populated by scrubs who couldn't make it in other sports today. That said, he is loved by his ESB fan boys :grouphug because every "demographic" group wants to believe in a hero (not matter how poor his comp has been or how unconvincing his skill set really appears to the impartial and objective).

Vit remains virtually unknown in the USA as his fights have made little impression and have failed to capture the attention of sport fans. Following after more talented and entertaining fighters like Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, & Bowe has been very difficult and the fighters in today's heavyweight division are already well on their way to being forgotten as the period will be remembered only as a low point or trough when the talent pool was bone dry drained by a long thriving period of activity and interest in the NFL/NBA/MLB and now even MMA.


Hopefully a number of real talented large athletes will (again) decide to pursue boxing and bring back some life to a torpid/comatose division.

Bowe was 29 when he looked like a total amateur against Golotha, a Polish street thug and nightclub bouncer. Bowe was in HIS PRIME AND LOOKED LIKE ****. Can you imagine what a prime Vitali would do to Bowe? It would be bordering on murder.

Vitaly would knock this bum out of the ring. Only deluded Americans that use pink rose colored glasses consider Bowe a great.

 

Golota destroyed Bowe. Enough said.

 

You can safely put Bowe in the same bin with McCall. Good chin, but average boxer at BEST. But zero focus, no motivation, terrible work rate giving away round after round and easily intimidated in the ring once an opponent fights back.

Golotha made Bowe look like a scared amateur whos in the ring for the first time. Case closed.

Guys like Bowe destroyed boxing in the 90s. He had no discipline, threw his belt in the bin. A good chin doesn't make a good boxer.

He was **** scared of Lewis and didn't want to fight him. The 90s was the big era of fighters who thought they're all going to the ATG list but they didn't want to face eachother. The decade of chickenshits who wanted fame without working for it. Bowe was the worst of them all.

Golotha exposed him RIGHT IN BOWE'S PRIME: He was 29 and Golotha made him look like he was 49.
