Incredible that so many American fans got so caught up in the three fights they were sold by US media. Look, I understannd that Evander was good (overrated as a HW he was - he had Tyson's number, but is too small for bigger guys. Although Evander is VERY skilled and perhaps the best CW sized fighter ever).

However, Evander was too small for a fighter of Bowe's size. And still Evander is ALL - abso-$%^&inglutely all that Bowe has going for him.

Please try to look at it all a bit more objectively and you will realize that the things Bowe could do against little Evander he could never have done against a fighter as big or bigger than himself. Just take Golota - the first fight .. excuses. Then the second ... and more excuses. Fact is that Bolwe simply was never a very good fighter. Simple.

 

Exactly. Holyfield was a great CW but nothing but pure hype at HW. Americans are great at marketing but only the most naive bought into the myth how Holyfield was a legit HW. Lewis exposed him as a small, headbutting hugger.

 

Not acknowledging Holyfields abilities is a bit over the top. Although I was disappointed how he was holding Tyson to death in their fight, making it almost 90% wrestling.

It is amazing to try and downplay a top five or 10 heavyweight. That just shows the total ignorance of the fans on this site. Holyfield was competitive with everyone big or small and his resume is 100 times better than Vitali's. Amazing how ignorant European fans are to how bad the competition the Klistchko's faced really is. They act like Vitali actually beat an old Lewis, but he was completely busted up and was on his way to getting stopped. Hes showed absolutely no resiliency in tough fights, quitting in one, and getting beat up badly in another. Look at all former greats who stepped up as young champions to make their mark. Bowe falls under this category and he did against a shoe in top ten fighter in his prime. Vitali has nothing even close to this to hang his resume on. Dream on Klitschko fans.

That's what I don't get either....the total confidence that these bozos have in this guy being able to comfortably beat a guy on the evidence we have available to us. VITLAY has a very weak resume, Bowe's isn't great either but Bowe's biggest win is miles ahead of VITLAYS in every way.
