Vitali's iron chin will take those and will deliver a worse punishment. Quitting because of a shoulder injury is pretty ****ing irrelevant to the total ass kicking Vitali would give to Foreman.
Vitali has everything u say he hasn't. U can argue over that, but feints sometimes all he does is feint. He really feints a lot. He would beat the young and old George for different reason though.
I think it's a hard fight to pick. Both guys have strengths and weaknesses that each could take advantage of. Foreman wasn't the most technical fighter, and in his youth his biggest issue was stamina. Vitalis method is to grind guys down and stop them late. Disaster for a fighter with dodgy stamina. Can I inject 45 yr old Foremans brain into young Foremans body? So, big advantage for Vitali there. But. As Beeston said, Lewis walked down, hurt, and even ignoring the cut that stopped the fight, really battered Vitali with his right hand. I think this shows the weakness in Vitalis lean back defence. Against most guys, it's great. Against a big, strong guy that's prepared to take a shot to land one, it's flawed. Vitali is tall but his reach isn't huge. It's fair to say if Lewis can take Vitalis shots to land his own, then Foreman can. Interesting fight TBH. I'd pick Foreman, but it wouldn't be a shock if Vitaly managed to get into the late rounds, and Foreman gassed out and got stopped.
Foreman beat at least 2 guys who were 6 ft 6 inches tall. Taller fighters were no problem for George. Also, he had a solid chin and Vitali's armpunches wouldn't be able to wear him down because George would end the fight early. Foreman at age 48 went 12 rounds with Prime Briggs man! Please! Foreman was tougher, stronger, hit harder and was just a much better fighter. So you say Foreman was beaten by Young. OK fine. But Vitali was beaten by Byrd! Foreman from 73-74 at 220-225 pounds and 6ft.3 1/2 would beat Vitali down and win by mid rounds TKO. Vitali didnt have the balls to trade with Arreola! He ran! He hit and ran just like he did with Corrie Sanders.
The Foreman stamina thing is mostly a myth. Prime Foreman had about 45 or 50 fights right? And he got tired in 2 of them! He won some decisions during his time. I would give a stamina egde to Vitali as long as he is fighting some old washed up bum but,Vitali looked gassed against Lewis and Sanders who were coincidentally the 2 fighters who hurt him.
Quitting against Byrd, getting rocked by Sanders and running away.running away and refusing to trade with Arreola, getting rocked by old glass chinned Lewis and holding on for dear life etc. Vitali gets stopped by Foreman in 5.
disagree with the Arreola bit Haye running from Wlad is called running and not trading Vitali brutalized Arreola, he didn't need to trade with him :deal
Prime Frankenstein Foreman was schooled by journeyman Jimmy Young, imagine what Vitali would do to him.
Look what Sanders & Lews did to Vitali, the 2 best punchers he faced both had him in serious trouble. George was stronger, hits a lot harder, has a better chin & a bigger heart. He was also a spiteful badman in his prime, I dont think Vitali's throwing lots of arm punches whilst leaning back is going to stop George comng forward & beating the **** out of Vit Foreman KO in 4 or 5 rounds
I literally have no doubt that Foreman would Knock Vitali into another dimension **** even against Vitali with all the riods he wants.
