Fury will be a fat, loudmouth drunk at age 40. Not so different than today. Just older, slower. fatter and more annoying. Similar to his father.
I’m not even having a go at fury, his fights with wilder were great. I’m just putting the shoe on the other foot. People on here go on about his win over vlad like it was some masterpiece, no it wasn’t, it was boring as **** and if vlad was in his 20s and fury was 40 he would of got smashed out no problem.
I agree with you. I was joking but there was some truth to it. Fury is aging badly. I can't see him bring in fighting condition at 40. The guys that can fight at 40 are usually the guys who stay in shape all the time and didnt abuse their bodies. Fury is not that guy.
Vitali Afury barely won a very uneventful fight against an almost 40 yr old Wlad prime Vitali destroys Fury
Bubbles, I know you despise Wilder. I'm not exactly a fan either However... Close to, if not prime, Chisora was KO'd by Haye*. P4P, Haye was a big puncher, but I think Wilder has an even more lethal right. I think Wilder-Chisora would be competitive until Wilder catches DW. Derek has been in with the best, but there's a reason he has 13 L. Many varied/ extreme views on the main topic. IOW some strong biases against Vitali or Fury. My view? It would be very competitive. * I could "argue" like many do here and refer to Haye as a CW. For example "CW" Cunningham dropped Fury No, he was a 210# HW.
Fury - will bust up the other side of his face or Vitali gets an owie and goes out like a fool on his stool. Vitali isn't much. A better chin than his Brother but that ain't sayin' much either. Very accident prone.
Despise is a strong word. I don't like the persona he projects, but mostly I just don't rate him too much beyond what he achieved, and his best win is nothing special old Ortiz. Chisora's clearly a gatekeeper. Wilder for me is a fringe contender at best. I don't think there's a big enough difference between the two for Chisora's style advantage to not give him a serious chance of winning - his pressure has made for uncomfortable nights for fighters far more skilled and capable of dealing with it... That's not to say he couldn't get caught, it's entirely possible - but it would've been a fight that could go either way IMHO.
Did you read what I said he was in the same boat as Mayweather who was knocked down by Mosely but the ref didn't call it so it doesn't count much like Furys second knock down by Nagonnu... incidentaly if called correctly would Fury have a loss against a fighter who never won a boxing match?
This is not a close fight. The best version of Fury squeaked past the worst version of Wlad, who would have been pulverised by his brother Vitali. Do the math. Iron chinned, two fisted power of Vitali versus pitter patter huggy Fury. Don't base Fury's career off beating the worst boxing HW champion of all time in Deontay. He Stone cold cherry picked that ass and Bum Squad was dumb enough to think that with the extended lay-off he could get the cherry pick win.
Vitali was struggling against against an aging Lewis. Do you consider Prime Fury below aging Lewis? The lewis that fought Vitali would get beat vs Fury IMO.
Squeaked past? You mean absolutely schooling Wlad in a one sided slapping? Fury's movement was absolutely insane in his prime.
Vitali was rocked badly prior to the knockdown. Also that was in the first round so no accumulation punching going on there either. So obsviously he could get hurt and the chin is not as great as some people claim, still really good though.
"Aging Lewis" was still just 37 years old: As a Super heavy weight - not some small heavyweight like Usyk that needs everything to be relevant against the big boys. Both Lewis and Vitali exposed eachother during their fight.
