Prime Vitaly Klitschko vs Tyson Fury

I'd still consider lewis at 37 past his prime. Remember this was still over 2 decades ago.

He was just as good if not better vs Wilder anyway. The Fury that beat Wilder in 2018 and 2020 would beat Wlad.

 

The 2020 version would beat 39 year old Wlad but not the 2018 version, he was substantially diminished from inactivity and exposed Wilder’s complete lack of basic fundamentals.

 

Not a prayer - the technical Fury in Wilder 1 wasn't fit enough to beat old Wlad and the "kronk" version from fight 3 was too easy to hit and Wlad would've beaten him with relative ease...

The only Fury from his return that'd stand any chance with even that old Wlad is the one from the second Wilder fight - but even then, Wlad wasn't made of porcelain or incapable of adapting like Wilder and Fury wouldn't have been able to hurt him or neuter him by walking forwards.

The only way Fury from the Wilder fights would be able to beat Wlad would be by fighting like he actually did against Wlad - if he was fit enough to pull it off by that point... I don't see it.

 

Fury would jab his eye sockets out. Vitali style is horrible for Fury's jab... Also Fury would smother him in close repeat.

 

It’s amazing that people have 0 knowledge about fitness in sport and the effects of alcohol abuse. Fury in 2018 was barely fit and exposed Wilder. It’s just trolling or NEETs alts who push the narrative he was in anyway fit for that fight.

Vitali was a very tall man with good reflexes that fought short men compared to him. How often did he gets hit clean? And when he did how long did it take to be hit clean again? You see he was good at avoiding shots that helped his chin. He was not a brawler like Chisora that constantly ate heavy shots. He was a stalker with low guard and good upper body movement. Sanders superior timing exposed Vitalis chin for what it was very good but not Wach or Valuev level. I rate Povetkins as good or better than Vitalis.

Spent 10 years on boxing forums reading about how Wlad was the better boxer over Vlad but Vlad was tougher and then suddenly oh no Fury loses to Vlad. Toughness doesn't beat Fury. Boxing skills win in most boxing matches. Prime Fury boxes Vlad up and down. Some people still think "prime" Wlad beats Fury...some people think Wlad had an off night then 2 years later was energized with his AJ performance. AJ is a bodybuilding bum. Wlad is a big stiff idiot robot clincher pusher. Vlad almost died against plodding OAP Lennox. The klits are good but they are there to be licked by decent men. The fact is Fury only faltered end of career, dicipline issues against the best cruiserweight of all time, Usyk boxes Holyfield up sorry folks. Sure Holyfield was tough as they come and took shots Usyk couldn't dream of taking but Usyk doesn't take them shots because he's a superior boxer.

Fury & Usyk on form give any HW boxer in history issues, although there would be instances where STYLES MAKE FIGHTS and they'd struggle against certain style. Fury would never struggle against a plodding super heavyweight, Usyk wouldn't either without getting caught heavily.
