You make some really good points. Most of the modern welterweights are bigger than the 147 pound fighters from the past. You are probably correct and, to be honest, in these fantasy matchups of different eras I try to base my thoughts more on skill levels, height and reach as well as boxing record. I tend to ignore the modern era weight absurdities.
