But in it Wand talked about an incident between he and Shogun. Shogun's prized Pit Bull had puppies and he asked Wand if he wanted one and he said yes. Shogun gave the pup to Wand but no money was talked about. A few weeks later Shogun brought it up and Wand said that he considered it a gift. It continued this way for a while until they, being Chute Box fighters, decided that they would put on the gloves and settle it in the ring. If Shogun knocked out Wand then he would have to pay him for the puppy. If Shogun was the one to get KOed then the puppy would be for free. Wanderlei finished the story saying "I didn't have to pay for the puppy". Shogun denies the pitbull story. Quote: When listening to a radio interview with you and Wanderlei Silva, Wanderlei said you had given him a pit bull, and wanted to get the dog back. And that you decided to fight in training, and the winner would take the pit bull. Who finally got the dog? This story is not true, I have no pitbull, never had. We were coaching and I took a knockdown from him, and he was joking saying that he won.
Don't ruin such a good story, true or not. Either way, those two knocked each other the **** out in training, often. Imagine going into training knowing you are going 90-100% with Wandy, Shogun, Cyborg, and the rest of the pyschos. I'd be like "Nah, gonna go work my BJJ with Christiano today guys" Not sure how good idea it is to KO people regularly in training.
