Who wins these two fights? A tough one.
At 135 Whitaker unified the division where as Mayweather was more just passin through.
At 147 they both fought some very decent fighters

2 Grand MASTERS of the pure art of boxing!!!!!!

I go with Sweet Pea, close but clear unanimous decisions in both cases.

i can see floyd as the stalker in this fight, due to the fact sweet p has no real pop and mayweather has a little sting to his punches.prime for prime hmm
ill go with floyd, im so use to him fighting guys that try to out muscle him or outwork him.i think he could can would beat sweet pea.

Whitaker takes this one by decision. He has the superior jab and that will pay big dividends for him in this fight. If Mayweather elects to be the aggressor, that will play right into Whitaker's hands. Whitaker has the better defense. I really do not think that Maywheater superior power (even that is debatable) means anything in this particluar matchup. Whitaker wins a clear cut decision 116-112, the weight doesn't matter.

    Whitaker, close but clear (115-113ish)

One judge may give it to Mayweather though, no matter how wrong, based on judging these days and how Pernell's style obviously didn't gel with some (judges).

Pea´s jab, workrate, southpaw stance and slightly better defence wins him the fight pretty clear. Something like 8 rounds to 4. The build up would be great.

Whitaker proved himself to be the better pressure fighter when the situation called for it. He was better at keeping the fight at his pace than Floyd. If it came to an inside battle I'd definitely favor Whitaker, much more proven IMO.

Why? Whitaker was far more proven and kept more of his original effectivenes at WW, though he lost some of his physical gifts.
