He drained hard to make Welter, his prime in 154 where he fought most & never lost a fight

I still feel he was a monstrous Welterweight scared the hell of Mayweather :yep

Fact: Williams never had a name during 2007-Late 2008. Even in 2009 when he fought Sergio, he still wasn't a big name.

Fact: Mayweather retired with a body injury end of 2007

Fact: After Mayweather retired, Williams immediately lost to Quintana.

Mayweather didn't even know the man's name. :hi:

Fact: Mayweather would have kicked that ass np.

    :smooch

williams fought and beat margarito in july of 2007. he immediately called out cotto and mayweather. keep in mind that arum wanted margarito to vacate and face cotto instead. williams had to take margarito to court to make the fight happen. arum said margarito would get cotto if he beat williams.

cotto fought and beat mosley in nov of 2007. he never calls out anyone and was a company man who let arum do all the picking back then.

mayweather fought hatton in dec of 2007 and immediately afterwards acted like he didn't know who cotto and williams were. margarito had been calling out mayweather but was out of the picture because of his loss to williams. mayweather took a 2 yr break and didn't hear anyone calling him out until jmm. go figure.

Fact: You **** Mayweather's backside before you surreptitiously mount him each evening.

Paul Williams (Margarito on Melanin) was Mayweather scariest nightmare :conf

Paul closed his career defeating every man he faced, wins vs prime Maragrito, prime Martinez, default W vs Mayweather...Ducking will not be encouraged :nono, a loss is better atleast you tried...Anyways smart financial move by Money Mayweather, good legacy for Paul Williams cause Mayweather ducks the best :deal

KO 2. Deal with it fĂ ggot.

Just kidding. Couldn't resist. I agree. PILL wasn't an exceptionally skilled guy but he was a tough out for anyone. If he actually used his reach...He would've been even better.

Yup and Mayweather had a fight with Hatton and retired due to injuries.

    :hi:

Fact: Williams lost right after Mayweather retired early 2008.

Fact: Williams was not a known name

Fact: Margarito lost to Williams and lost to Santos 2004. While on the other hand, Baldomir was the lineal champion @ 47 and was the perfect opponent for Mayweather.

Mayweather wanted Margarito for 10 million dollars, Arum said no. Therefore, Mayweather went for the richest fight in boxing history, the fight with DLH.

Margarito was too busy defending his WBO scrap against bums and not fighting worthwhile opponents other than Cintron and CLOTTEY. :patsch

Wrong. It was really because he had a body injury. It's been documented and proven by acclaimed doctors.

Would I trust you or would I trust a very trustworthy man in Mayweather?:patsch

    I ain't!

If Mayweather did not retire at that time, he would have had his career shortened.

Would have been the the worst decision of his life.
