LOL were you watching boxing back then? Floyd does not hit harder at all. Floyd is faster of course but Winky didn't need speed to beat a PRIME mosley twice. He's just as smart as Floyd is in the ring implementing his great defense and setting you up. Prime Winky beats Floyd 7-5 in a snoozefest. Floyd's punch count would be really low, punches would be smothered in winky's block. Winky would off set him all fight with his jab.
You gotta understand winky would have pretty much shut out Canelo too and would be completely dominating the fools out there today. Winky is more durable than anyone Floyd's fought and consistent and would easily have no problem going into a boring as hell chess match with Floyd.

 

No one is saying Winky doesn't have skill. lol But his and Mayweather's is like night and day in terms of skill. I will only give Winky the power advantage.

 

I think he would see everything Floyd is throwing at him, also wouldn't respect his power and would have a much better time than any of floyd's past opponents on timing him - which isn't impossible. Winky was fukin smart. He beat guys who had more power and alot more speed and made it look easy. He also went pretty even with Hopkins, which says a ton. Floyd has never fought anyone his caliber, just Oscar and Mosley which were shadows of themselves.

 

Winky dominated a quicker , stronger , bigger Sugar Shane twice.

Floyd gets jabbed into submission via wide UD.

I also think he was robbed against Hopkins and Vargas.

Winky would walk him down and jab and 1-2 his ears off.. 116-112 for Winky. And people that call Winky boring don't know **** about boxing. The Hopkins fight was terrible cause of Hopkins. Watch Winky vs Vargas. that was some great ass fight. Winky Taylor was a very good one too. And watch Winky Mosley to see how Winky deals with Speed. Winky is one of the most underrated fighters ever. One of the greatest fighters of the last 25 years.

And people that call Floyd boring are tattoo-wearing, skinhead UFC fans, or Pinoys. This would be a great fight

Winky has a tight defense, legitimate skills that would trouble Floyd, timing, and he is bigger.

 

It is crazy to say it would be easy for either guy, both are great and both are smart defensive fighters, Winky got robbed so many times it made me sick. He was one of the best back then when he took Tito to school.
