Prime Wlad Klitchsko vs best version of early 70s Ali?

Whatever. None of us will ever know for sure.

I will concede that I may be biased because I have never had one iota of use ever for the Klitchskos, either one of them.

 

Not hate. Just don’t care for them. Never have seen what the big deal is. Honestly … and YMMV, it would be a boring world if we all agreed or liked the same things … they’ve always bored the crap out of me.

 

Wait a minute...are you inviting snarky answers or do I have to answer this like I had real money on it and the time machine was actually going to make it happen? Because I'd get much less snarky in the second scenario. I don't want to admit that. But there you go.

I actually predicted the exact thing he would say in response to a post in the aforementioned thread, and he got banned 2 minutes later.

 

I acknowledge that. Just not my cup of tea. I can respect something or someone while not liking that something or someone. Just my .02.

 

They didn’t fight each other. Their careers & big brother’s especially struggle enough without one another on their CV. Had it been a stronger era, fine, make your family pact, but they frankly needed one another career-wise & legacy-wise - though I suppose they had every right to choose whether that took precedence over family being in a ring together.

As a fan though I have to mark their legacies down.

 

I think Klitschko was a talented guy & he has some quality advantages here, & his greatest weakness isn’t available for Ali to exploit - but this is really stretching the good will for mine. He wouldn’t be without success but I could not see him winning eight rounds against a fighter as resourceful, adaptable & quick as Ali.

 

Actually its early 70s Ali which is when he would clinch a lot lol. And prime is subjective most of Ali's best wins were when he was "past his prime"

 

Fair we all have our biases at least you're honest about yours which I can respect
