no way the gloves barely had any padding and an opponent could just stand over a felled opponent and hit him as soon as he rose also referees mostly turned a blind eye to cheating

the competition may have been weaker sure but it was a much harder era of that there can be no doubt

Expect a lot of mauling and grabbing for long periods of this fight. Even though we can't put Willard in category of hard punchers he could bang a bit. So maybe shakes Klitchko up a little. If the fight set for 15, then I'll say Wlad by decision. But if we're talking 25 or more, I see Willard in with a shot at wearing him down and dropping him.

Wlad wins.... Jess was a big strong guy with good stamina and chin but he was slow, held his hands low and never in his entire career fought someone with Wlads skills and size.

    Wlad is criminally underrated.

Why? Because Willard possibly beats him? If I said prime Mike Tyson beats Wlad, would you say he's "criminally underrated"?

A lumbering oaf with a dad bod isn't going to be a problem for Wlad. Your think outside the box threads crack me up.

Willard was far from a "lumbering oaf with a dad bod". He was the heavyweight champion of the world who was a master boxer with ATG punching power. He was the Lennox Lewis of his day or should I say that Lennox Lewis was the Jess Willard of the 90s? He also had an AJ like physique.

I think after facing Wlad, Willard would be uttering the same phrase he used to console himself after Dempsey tore through him for the title:

    “I have $100,000 and a farm in Kansas … I have $100,000 and a farm in Kansas …”

Willard was so durable Dempsey floored him early and finished off inside of 4 rounds. Wlad would have a field day on Willard.

You know Dempsey didn't actually finish him, right? Willard quit after sustaining one of the most horrendous beating of all time. He had MULTIPLE bones broken in the first round, and he carried on. Keep in mind this is a fat, 37 year old who hadn't fought in three years. It was also in three rounds BTW, not four.

I assume you're implying Wlad stops Willard early, since you mention Dempsey doing so. Please tell me, who did Wlad ever stop early?
