That fight was far from prime Lenox, in saying that Lewis was lucky as hell. He was completly getting his ass kicked.

some of these responses are just dumb! classic case of over-estimating one fighter and under-estimating another! 'lewis ko 2' etc lol... ask steward, foreman, naz richardson, roach etc there opinion, i think you'd be surprised!

Their opinion is based on the fact that everyone else in the division is mediocre though.

The only advice I'd ever ask Foreman is how long I should grill a burger for. He knows ****.

If Wlad has Steward in his corner I might have to favor him. I feel Wlad has the better jab and with his machine like efficency could box Lewis from the outside and clinch him to death when he tries to get funny on the inside. Regardless who he has in his corner, Lennox will try to Grant Wlad; hold and hit, pound the body, and generally rough him up, but unlike his older brother who was confused and thrown off by Lennox's wrestling and spoling, Wlad is an octopus that lets little get through at close quarters these days. Wlad UD. Otherwise, a battered Lewis eventually sneaks a grab and uppercut in there and stops him in the middle rounds after several knockdowns.

"wlad even fought a proper heavyweight yet ? by that I mean a good 6 foot 3 + fighter in shape"

Wlad's easiest fights were against big men, moron. He blasted Austin and dominated prime McCline who was coming off easy wins over Lewis' "proper heavy" victims: Grant and Briggs. I bet if someone like Derrick Jefferson was coming up today, you'd pick him to dominate Wlad.

Wlad today is too scared to throw anything else than jab, and I doubt this would be enough for Lewis. His offence was much better before, but he had major flaws in defence and had no idea what to do when hurt.

Having said that, Lewis lost to fighters much worse than any version of Wlad, so while I would definitely favour him here, I wouldn't count an upset either.

When did we start talking about Tyson? Your a muppet, as your opinion quite clearly demonstrates.
Wlad is powerful, but not a great puncher.
Foreman, Tyson, Louis were great punchers, Wlad is good.
Ye, his ATG jab kept Sanders at bay brilliantly didnt it:hi:

Wlad is gunshy, and negative, oh and extremely chinny, and cant handle pressure at all. Sam Peters misses kept putting him down for **** sake.
Lewis would go right after him like he did Michael Grant(Im not comparing Wlad to Grant, just on how Lewis performed/would perform), and destroy him.
Remember in was Lewis who phoned Sanders and told him Wlad couldnt handle pressure, and to jump right on him.
    We saw how that went.

Thanks for playing fanboy, Im done with you, you may go trawl elsewhere now.:hi:

:huh That was not a prime Lennox Lewis who fought Vitali, so thats basically a moot point given that Lennox was at the tail end of his career.

i don't think so. wladimir has also got knocked out, and knocked down more times than lennox ever has against more mediocre of opponents than lennox. the truth is, it's the heavyweight division, so of course lennox could get knocked out if he got caught, that's what is so great about boxing, but the chances are, lennox would knock wladimir out, and probably in the first half of the fight. even if wladimir clinches so survive he's going to get knocked out because of lennox's uppercut. personally, i see the uppercut ala micheal grant outcome against wladimir. not a ****ing chance in hell wladimir would take the uppercuts vitali had to take, even vitali was all over the place when that uppercut landed, and that's against a old, rusty, out of condition lennox lewis.
