    Ross Purrity.
    Lamon Brewster
    Corrie Sanders

    Weak argument.

Too many uneducated newbie boxing fans that don't understand the sport. Most would probably be big fans of ToughMan competitions where 2 out of shape guys swing for the fences until one gets caught.

    *cough*

    Oliver McCall
    Hasim Rahman

Your argument is very weak genius, McCall & Rahman are no better than Purrity, Brewster or Sanders.

    So what?

Scorecards are pretty irrelevant when one guy can't even make the start of round 7.

It was hardly a case of fighter winning 110-99 without getting a glove laid on him and losing to a cut or lucky shot.

It was basically 4-2, with one guy getting his face torn off to get the 4.

I'm giving up on this thread.

It's a competitive fight, no doubt. I don't think Wlad would be a pushover for anyone, ever. But more often than not, he loses this fight. He'd have to do something we haven't seen from Wlad, to win this fight.
Lewis to win, would be doing things he's done in the past. That's why he'd be favourite.

If Wlad unifies and finishes his career without another loss I would rank him right up there with Lewis inside the top 10 ATG HW's. These guys are very evenly matched, and what makes me laugh is that these same people that are calling Wlad soft, boring, and china-chinned were likely saying the same thing about Lennox 10 years ago.

If Wladimir fought Lennox instead of Vitali I think Lewis would've beat that version of Wladimir by using controlled aggression & ring smarts he gained through working with Manny & ring experience.

Today's version of Wlad, who I think is in his prime, would be a different story. Gone is the young invincible but inexperienced KO machine. Now he's a methodical bully with skills & power. This isn't an easy fight for either fighter when talking about primes.

    I thought they already fought?

On Ocean's 11, I had Wlad winning on aggression before the blackout.

    Are you having a laugh?

Seriously? My post was responding to the 2 names you've just mentioned anyway. I'm pretty aware of that.

Rahman beat Sanders, when both were half decent.
McCall has had a far far better career than Sanders or Brewster.

Brewster? Had a couple of good years.

Purrity? come on, Lewis wasn't fighting guys of that level any time after his first dozen or so fights. And definitely, definitely not losing to them.

Both of the guys Lewis lost to, won at least one more world title fight apart from beating him. (forget the WBO, it's been **** at heavyweight)

How many of the guys that Wlad beat is that true for?

Sure. Lewis, lost 1 by TKO, 1 by KO
    Wlad, 3 by TKO.

Shall we start on KD's now?

    I know Lewis had 2.

What's the official count on Wlad now? 12, 13??

But I suppose, as is always posted, that shows Wlad has a BETTER chin than Lewis right?

I know, all my "Tyson friends" hated Lewis with a passion. :rofl Even the Brits threw their support behind Bruno instead of Lewis. They denied he was truly English. I remember quite clearly...............:good
