How does that even things out a bit :huh Watch WALDO V Brewster again, didn't WALDO get the privilege of an illegal standing 8 count in that fight? It doesn't matter anyway, when WALDO goes, he goes :yep Just because he held Peter to death after the knock-downs every WALDO fan is trying to claim he has the best heart and chin in history, well you're wrong. Lewis hits way harder than anyone WALDO has ever fought (in his prime) and WALDO would be despatched early, count on it. Lewis KO1.
When did McCall when another world title fight? And I remember Rahman fought a draw with Toney in a title fight but did he win another one?
Prime Lewis would make what Sanders did to Wlad look like a two nuns going at it. Lewis would probably knock him out cold.
No chance....much as I'm a pal of yours mate I can't agree with that. Lewis beat far better comp, WALDO's list of victims is pretty pathetic. Lewis is a top 5 ATG HW, WALDO will be top 15 at best, regardless of what he does between now and the end of his career.
Sanders was WBO Champion after he beat Wlad, McCall was WBC Champion after he beat Lewis. (The Ref determined that Lewis was unable to continue after a single punch) Rahman won the WBC with a single punch KO of Lewis (That means Lewis couldn't beat the count) Who's the chinny fighter? Purrity, Sanders & Brewster all beat Wlad with multiple punches and Wladimir always beat the count. Two of those losses can be attributed to stamina related issues....................
Lewis was green for McCall (Pre Manny, Like Tyson without Cus/Rooney). Lewis was overweight and out of shape for Rahman (Trained 2 weeks for a fight at an altitude of 5,500 feet.) These are not prime Lewis therefore have no basis in a prime Lewis argument.
Erm, yes they are. Rahman knocked Sanders the **** out in case you didn't notice atsch McCall was a tough customer when Lewis fought him, but that didn't count because it was only a TKO (I'm using the same rules you're using here, it wasn't a KO therefore it didn't count) Now let's start on Purrity.......don't want to play any more? I don't blame you. WALDO has what, 13 KD's in his career? Lewis has 2. It's pretty easy to any free-thinking BOXING fan who would win this match-up, unfortunately your opinion doesn't qualify, fanboy.
Sanders was a 38 yr old Journeyman who had been KTFO by Rahman earlier as for Brewster he was also a Journeyman, I'm not saying Rahman and McCall were anything specail but they were BOTH better than Sanders and Purrity.
Klitschko fan quote of the week right there. Well done, you've been trying hard all through this thread but now I have to give you the award, well done moron :good
Why am I not surprised that you don't agree with that Lewis did beat better competition no doubt. Wlad is easily retires in the top 10 in my book unless he has a catastrophic couple of years in front of him.
:deal And a friendly reminder for Loufatski = can you imagine Wlad having the mental fortitude to continue on after having his face ripped apart. Or even better what would Wlad think being in the ring with the man who ripped his tougher brothers face apart?
