Make no mistake, I thought Golota was a very good fighter with a pea brain. He basically threw both of the Bowe fights away and he looked like he was going to the electric chair on his way to the ring against Lewis. Lennox picked up on that & didn't let Golota get comfortable. Brewster had the same strategy & it worked for him too.

Weakest **** a WALDO fan can come out with, yet they always do it :lol::lol:

Judah was only TKO'd against Tszyu you know, in reality he has a great chin. :nut

Lewis would win this fight in the first round, WALDO would most likely **** himself on the ring walk. If Sam Peter can give him panic attacks god knows what would happen when he gets face to face with Lewis.

Wlad's probably got the edge with jabs, and maybe is a better pure boxer.

But Lewis can fight. Wlad can't. Wlad fell in a puddle when Sam Peter swung his slow wide clubs at him. Not to mention all the other KD's.

Lewis - altho losing twice by KO - was only down twice, and coped with pressure far far better than Wlad.

As for "who lands first, wins", I don't think so. Lewis was a great finisher, Wlad, not so sure.

I can't see Wlad dropping his hands and letting Briggs have a crack at his chin, and then responing by sitting him on his arse, can you?

I made the same point earlier in the thread. Not to mention the punches he took against Bruno and Vitali. Wlad panics when pressured, Lewis either goes on the attack himself or looks to counter.

Offensive wise, both men are comparable. As far as whose tougher mentally, it's Lewis all day.

Wlad can definitely knock out Lewis. His only chance is if he catches Lewis with a big right before Lewis does. Judging by most of the posts you'd think Lewis was some invincible heavyweight. He was not. He was KOd twice by single punches and struggled in other fights as well. Both had shaky chins but Wlad panicked whereas Lewis displayed good recovery when hurt. Lewis would be the favorite but I'd give Wlad a 20% chance.

    Doubt.

I've already said how I think this would go.

    (Lewis, probably by KO).

However, there is no doubt that Wlad could KO Lewis with one punch.

Anything Rahman can do in that department, Wlad can do better.

Wlad has improved considerably since the Sanders fight.

So prime for prime each man at his best, I'd still pick Lewis. But there would be risk and it wouldn't be as easy as as some think.

I agree. Can you answer me this though. The last time Wlad was pressured and hit with a decent punch, it put him in panic mode, made him hit the canvas 3 times and excessively clinch, you would agree Lewis would land the same blows as Peter, if not more? Lewis was an extremely smart fighter and would see the quite blarring weakness Wlad has. Which is the habit he has to panic when pressured, not to mention how wide he opens his arms to clinch at times. Leaving him wide open for a vicious Lewis right uppercut, the one that shook Vitali's boots from under him.

I'm not saying Lewis can't lose to Wlad, I just think if Lewis keeps his hands up and his chin tucked in when he throws the big right. It's only a matter of time before Wlad's glass chin is shattered.

Lewis by brutal KO, Wlad really isn't that good.

I agree, but imo Lewis without Manny is like Tyson without Cus/Rooney, Ali without Dundee etc.

You also seem to forget Lewis's condition in the fight, par with Tyson of the Douglas fight wouldn't you say? That wasn't 'prime' Lewis in the ring therefore has little or no bearing on the discussion surely?

Lewis is not invincible but he is much better than Wlad, who not only happens to be fragile but also matches up quite poorly against Lewis.
