Wlad has far better footwork than Golota and is much harder to hit. Golota is a difficult opponent for Wlad, but he is not someone to rush Wlad like Sanders did or to take inhumane punishment and outlast him, like Purrity or Brewster.

Besides, if Golota hurts Wlad and is on his way to winning, he will find a way to **** thins up and lose.

Golota was weak mentally, but physically he would be one of the strongest Wladimi'r opponents. Overall 70 to 30 for Wladimir.

Golota jabs a black eye into Wlad, then bites him on the throat and loses by disqualification.

Wlad is hard to hit for guys who he has a big size advantage over... that is something he wouldn't have against Golota which i why i find it a fascinating fight

Wlad's losses never had to do with size. His toughest fight since 2005 was 6'1 Peter in the first fight. He uses his height much better than most tall fighters, therefore McCline, Thompson or Austin were as much at a disadvantage as many smaller fighters.

Wlad wins, because of Golota's mentality. However I can see Golota outjabbing Wladimir for a few rounds. Until he tastes Wladimir right hand a few times.

But if Wlad is scared to throw the right hand against Ibragimov how regularly would he let it go against Golota?

Wlad wins because of common sense.

But Wlad has never fought anyone of Golotas dimensions so we don't know how he would cope when he can't use his height for defence and up against a guy who is just as effective behind a jab but is also willing to throw the big punches more often and mix it up.

Also please don't put Thompson, McCline or Austin in the same bracket as Golota... Golota was a much better fighter... slightly bonkers but a much better fighter

Bowe was getting stomped in 2 fights against Golota before he lost his head and got dq'd.... For me Bowe is a better fighter than Wlad and prime for prime would take Wlad out. IMO anyway

Bowe was lazy and had suspect conditioning. Wlad would not take the onslaught that Bowe took vs Golata....he would counter and counter much harder than Bowe did and the Foul Pole would be on the canvas early and often. Golata's only chance would be to catch him with something early a la Corrie Sanders.

The Golota that fought Bowe, could potentially do what Sander's did to Wlad. If he fights aggressively, he might put away Dr Steel Hammer. It was only because of Riddick's iron chin that made Andrew threw that fight. Once he knew couldn't finish him, he got frustrated, and completely lost the plot with the low blows. Or then there's the argument that Wlad really has learned on how to deal with someone like Sander's size, and puts the right hand down on Andrews questionable chin...
    A toss up 50 / 50 in my opinion....

:patsch:nut Did you just suggest Wlad would counter? when the **** has Wlad ever been a counter puncher? someone throws a punch he shits himself and does the octpussy impression and drapes all over his opponent. he panics too much when hit to be an effective counter puncher

Golota probably has Wlad wobbled, then freaks the **** out and pisses himself/starts biting him or something.
