Hearns would be favored , he has the advantages .... BUT if Duran can consistently get in, bye bye Tommy

I know people say that Hearns struggled with those who could get in on him, but the people who did that to him were physically stronger than him like Hagler and Barkley 2nd fight, they bullied him, Duran don't have that physical strength

For me hearns height , reach , speed of jab and power would make him a nightmare for any version of Duran

    Hearns by ko

This. I'm not sure Tommy could handle that kind of pressure. Though Duran wasn't as heavy handed as Hagler, he was a pressure fighter and was probably faster.

Duran TKO 12 at the very latest.

I don't see Duran getting stopped on his best night but Hearns skill, speed, reach and power would be too much. Hearns UD

Duran's pressure and know-how is too much. If Leonard could stop Hearns, Duran certainly could. Very close fight, and a dandy at that. Duran TKO 10 Hearns.

Hearns just has too many assets for Duran at 147.

Hearns's height and reach would always be a major issue for Duran. In order to reach Hearns, Duran would have too fight almost standing straight up.
Styles and also physical attributes make fights. Duran was closer to Leonard in height, so he could use his entire offensive repertoire against him.
He couldn't do that, even at welterweight against Hearns. The fight could go longer because Duran was faster at welterweight that at Jr.Middle, but sooner or later Hearns catches him and Ko's him.

charlietf is right, negative 100 times out of 100, Hearns would win

Doesn’t really matter which weight class it would be, Tommy’s style would always be kryptonite for Duran. The height, reach, jab, and especially power will be trouble even for Duran @ 147. Only difference would be that it would last a little longer, but same end results.
