Why? Because we both speak the truth? Floyd was not in the slightest bit impressive in the early rounds and everyone I watched the fight with was less than impressed with Floyd(whom I'd picked to stop Hatton and was talking up prior to the fight).

Not very many, but he was pressing the fight, controlling the pace and throwing far more, while Floyd landed at a higher percentage throwing fewer shots.

No, I'm saying he'd have schooled Hatton from the start, as he never had to adjust to fighters period, especially one like Hatton.

Most of Floyd's KO's came at 130, you should know that. Let me ask you a question, how many 1 punch KO's does Floyd have above 130? Compare them to Pea's KO's over Lomeli and 1st round KO over Nazario(who'd just come off a KO win over Rosario).

I agree, but he wasn't making it look easy. And this fight is an example of why he doesn't beat Julio. He couldn't get away from Jesus, he just relied on his defense and accuracy to land clean shots off the ropes. Against Chavez, he'd be cornered even more often by a much better ring general and wouldn't find nearly as clean a target. Not to mention he'd have a lot more to worry about from Julio's offense.

Look at the cards he losses few rounds. Not since Roy Jones has a fighter outclassed his opposition the way PBF does.:deal BTW your list is a joke.:-(

hey all i watched of JCC was tapes and youtube, I was too young to catch him in his prime back then so your right on that aspect. I just think this is one of those 'old school' vs 'new school' type arguments. You just old man, your a has been.

maybe it's a joke to you man, but it's true....even if floyd made it look easy against hatton (from the outside) we all know he ****en cheated his ass off that night....he was doing mostly all the clinching, forearming, bending below the waist etc etc.....

A ****EN FIGHTER LIKE HATTON MADE FLOYD CHANGE HIS GAMEPLAN TO CHEATING :-( :-(

You're the only one aside from the usual trolls like fitzgerald and bigtime9.

Yes, the decision was dodgy, in fact every single time we've done a poll on it Pea has won the poll handily, and more ringside observers scored it for Pea than for Oscar, including the commentators. Floyd beat Oscar by one point on my card, that is struggling.

Most of Pea's KD's came from being off balance due to the angles he slipped punches at. Rarely was he ever hurt. Never moreso than Floyd was against Corley.

well i thought the SD was crap. To me floyd won UD and pretty easily. I thought he struggled with zab more than oscar, thats why i didnt say anything to you about that one.

your trippin big time read my post - I said Roger was chinny , but it is a weakness floyd did not inherit from his uncle .

when chavez fought taylor he was in his prime, and taylor movement gave chavez problem until Taylor decided to fight Chavez fight .

I thought the fight was close, Floyd clearly winning, despite the closeness of my score. I thought Oscar was winning 4 to 3 through the first 7 before gassing like he usually does, at which point Floyd took over. I ended up scoring it 6-5-1 for Floyd I believe, if not 7-5.

Either way, I think a prime Oscar beats Floyd, and we saw how a prime Oscar fared against a well past prime Pea. That's just my take.

A Hatton fan complaining about cheating...****ing hilarious. :rofl  Was PBF cheating when he landing jabs to the body straight right hands and hooks on demand? Was PBF cheating the way he confused, baited Hatton into becoming more reckless right into that hook and into the ring post? He had Ricky wound up so tight he didn't know if he was comming or going.:rofl
The fact is Hatton didn't come to fight he came to wrestle and it was evident by who was landing the clean punches and who was getting hurt. That 8th round of that fight was ****ing brutal man just brutal that tells you everything you need to know about that fight in a nutshell.:deal

No you seem to think that shoulder roll is floyd entire defense , your so stuck on the should roll that you fail to see that floyd has other demission to his defense..

and lets be honest Chavez was not a hard man to hit and he would get caught quite often, and as he moved up in weight his chin started to show wear and tear from the shots he use to walk through early in his career at the lighter weights.

weak argument .. Floyd was off balance, from a push of a punch from Zab but if that the best you can come with then hold on too it.
