He was toying with Chavez why can't you see it? He was working on his defense in that fight and could have turned it up on him at any moment. And he did in the 8th and 9th rounds. Do you think for one moment that PBF would employ that same strategy against JCC?

Of course it is these PBF haters will say or do anything to try and make him look bad. They overlook the fact that PBF walked down and beat the crap outta Zab and had him ready to go until he fouled him.

Tough one but id have to say Floyd just because of his adaptability. The 2 slick fast boxers Chavez faced, both were beating him on the cards heavily and one of them chose to brawl(Taylor). IMO Taylor could have easily cruised to a decision and Pea clearly beat him. No reason to think PBF couldnt do the same.

You can make a reference to the 1st Castillo fight but I dont think PBF was as ring smart back then and he did beat him much easier in the rematch.

    Jesus !

How many times must you guys be told.....

Chavez Taylor was at 140 lbs
    Chavez prime was 130/135 lbs
    Chavez beat Taylor in 1990
Chavez at his absolute peak beat Rosario in 1987

I DO give Floyd a shot vs a 140 lbs JCC because of the speed & reflex loss suffered by JCC at 140 but Id still fancy Chavez but it would be too close to bet big bucks (or my house) on.

135 however would be a Chavez win.... just too good, like a machine, potshots aint gonna do it in this fight, JC would walk thru that **** & pummel that body like its never been pummelled before. & yes he WOULD LAND that straight right.

Once Floyd is holdin them ribs after 8 rds of ATG body blastin, you bet he`s gonna be happy to take them lead rights, he`d be beggin JCC to give them to him just to take the pain away from his body.

you dont want to remember cuz if you did you'll remember Castillo landing it on PBF. and I too believe his best punch was the straight right. think about it that is the way to crack that D.

Floyd was not off balance until after that right hook landed watch it again son! and even Lennox Lewis called it a knock down so your going to argue you know more about the sport than Lennox?:think

Taylor "Brawled" because he knew he had a better chance that way to depend on his legs that were beat out of him. By the way Chavez beat his ass just look at him.

Maybe it looked as if PBF wasn't as ring smart because he was fighting primed guys who weren't flawed that he could hand pick as he did after 135.
