Floyd Mayweather beats Chavez by wide UD. I cant believe this is even a debate. He beat Castillo once with a torn rotator cuff and a broken rib. DOMINATED Castillo in the second fight. 8-4 is nowhere close to how uneven that fight was. The discouragement in Castillo's face was present well into round 8.

Hell lol, especially at 135 or 140, Mayweather bobs and weaves to an easy UD. At some points in the fight it would look like Gatti v mayweather 2.

Like another poster said a prime Mayweather wouldnt fight a Margarito, there is no way he would fight a prime chavez the result would be FLoyd retiring to avoid the fight.

Dude just shut up. Floyd challenged Oscar after Oscar handed Chavez 2 one sided ass whoopings. Floyd fought and called out everyone he could from 130-140. The only reason he never fought Oscar earlier, or Mosley, Hatton or Cotto was because they didnt want him. And who the **** is Margarito? Get somebody with drawing power into this discussion and less then 5 losses. he'd get a worse ass whooping then the rest of those latinos got.

The only thing Mayweather would have to worry about Chavez is getting robbed like Taylor and Whitaker were.

Mayweather wouldn't have the balls to take the shots that Taylor did. That's why he would never beat Chavez.

Chavez breaks bones when he hits you DLH Scores points big difference. your going to say a Prime Chavez losses to a Prime Floyd? get ****ing real and grow up and learn something.
The chavez that DLH beat twice was in the twilight of his career, and the DLH that Floyd fought once was also and is also at the end of his career he barely got by a past his prime De La Hoya by a single point, imagine what a prime Oscar would do let alone a prime chavez.
Floyd would get crushed. Then again you didnt start posting until last month so I would fully expect you to not know a damn thing.

Floyd's speed , conditioning and ring smarts would make this a very different fight from his uncles fight with Chavez. Floyd has stronger legs then his uncles did, and chavez used his right had to setup his left hook to the body it wasn't as major as the whole , used it to keep his opponents guessing while he pressured you.
movement and speed was Chavez weak point , he never performed well when his opponent gave him a combination of movement , speed and good boxing skill .
I think floyd would win a close decision 130 135 , he was quicker off the draw with his counter and a lot stronger then most fans give him credit for his strength at 130 and 135 would be enough to hold his own on the inside against Chavez and his hand speed and foot speed would allow him to score inside then use his foot speed to slide out at a angle and score from the out side.

You expect Mayweather to defeat a prime Chavez & NOT get hit!!!??? Since the Hopkins fight De La Hoya doesn't really dig down and land hard shots like he used to. I don't recall him really tagging Mayweather at anytime in thier fight. Plus Floyd is a MAYWEATHER after all & they are not known for thier Chin's!!!!?:yep

I highly doubt floyd would get crushed , he's too skilled for that he could lose a close decision but crushed I doubt it ..At 130 and 135 floyd packed good power to accompany his speed . At 135 he was quick enough to sit down on his punches and move out of the way at any thing coming back his way.

Sounds just like Taylor's stratedgy, he although was scoring, he took a fearful pounding to the body and head. Mayweather's not that durable.

Please. Oscar and Mayweather were alot closer in age when they fought then when Oscar and Chavez fought. Not only that Mayweather beat Oscar in his 5th weight class, and if you knew how to properly score a fight which I'd doubt you would know that Mayweather won that fight by a solid margin. Around 8-4. 7-5 if you took pity on Oscar and gave him the last round. The fight was over after round 8, Mayweather clearly dominated. Although he nver gave Oscar the ass whoopin he gave to Chavez I'll give you that.

But as I already have said many times. Fighters like Chavez dont beat Mayweather especially at the lighter weight classes where not only was Mayweather stronger, but also a better boxer and faster. He was the ultimate package at those weights. The only reason he moved to Welter was because he was chasing Oscar and Mosley who wouldnt fight him.

Mayweather crushed by Chavez? Like I said, the only thing Mayweather would have to worry about in that fight was breaking his hand on Chavez head or being jobbed like Whitaker and Taylor were.
