Primes: Hagler versus Pavlik?

That isn't exactly what I said. Every advantage Pavlik has, Hagler has a comparable one, plus a whole lot more that Pavlik does not possess. He may not hit quite as hard as Pavlik, but other than that Pavlik doesn't have any real advantage vs. Hagler.

Hagler could inflict a LOT more damage on the inside against Pavlik than Pavlik could inflict on him on the outside, because Hagler is much better at closing distance than Pavlik is at keeping it.

Good analysis. Pavlik has serious power, but Hagler has a piece of granite where his chin is supposed to be. Pavlik showed a shaky chin and Hagler would break him.

 

It is too early to tell.

What would people have said last week about Hagler versus Jermaine? Suddenly JT has no hope in hell.

Analyse the factors:
- Hagler = granite chin, almost can't be KOed
- Hagler, good power
- Pavlik, huge KO percentage, so we must assume he has good power
- Pavlik slightly bigger than Hagler
- Pavlik's chin is shaky

Answer these questions:
Can Pavlik KO Hagler? Yes=Pavlik
If Pavlik can't KO Hagler, is her going to box him for a UD? Yes=Pavlik
Otherwise = Hagler

Pretty obvious that Hagler will win unless Pavlik can KO him.
