Primes: Roy Jones vs George Chuvalo

Roy was very unproven at heavyweight. I see Chuvalo KOing him in under 10. George was rather inconsistant, but he had good power, an awesome chin, and good skills as well. The guy did KO Jerry Quarry. I would wager Chuvalo could be a belt hold holder right, maybe even capable of beating Wlad.

 

Roy could move and box and i'm sure get the decision.

 

The thing with Chuvalo is, he knew he could take a great punch and wouldn't be deterred, unlike Ruiz. I don't think Jones could hurt Ruiz either but Ruiz fought like he could - Something Chuvalo wouldn't do. Had Ruiz properly applied pressure without that fear of counters, I think he'd have hurt Jones, like I imagine Chuvalo would.

Chuvalo most likely walks through Jones and stops him in around 5.

Chuvalo stops Jones in the 13-15 rounds while way behind on the cards. Roy might get a decision in a 12 rounder.

I'd go with Jones by decision.
