Yeah, if it wasnt for the devastating damage done to Vitali`s face by Lewis`s punches causing him to need over 60 stitches in an eye that the doctor couldnt find any intact tissue to put his needle into. Or would you of liked Vitali to lose his eye, the doctor said it was very close to severing the nerve that controls the blink reflex in the eye.

Indeed, the Wlad holding tactic versus Peter was shameful,

    Here it is,

Vitali was his prime much earlier...about Hide fight time. He never reach level he should be, because of injuries.

You mean the cut on the eye that the doctor said he found no reason why Klitschko couldn't have finished the fight with?

Also... stop lying out of your ass. The doctor never said anything about the blink reflex. Why on earth do you guys feel the need to lie? The only fight where the Doctor said anything about a cut being where it was in danger of damaging the nerve in the eye was Wladimir against TOS, when that headbutt opened up that odd cut higher above Klitschko's eyebrow, and to the inside. THAT is where the nerve is, and Vitali wasn't even cut in that area.

Wow... This is sad.:rofl Vitali never even got knocked down from punches, now he was almost out? If anyone was on the verge of being knocked out without getting knocked down, it was Lewis in the 2nd round against Vitali. Vitali was beating the living **** out of him, and making him look like a damn amateur.

You mean Vitali`s personal doctor, paid for by Vitali!!!!!!!!! Vitali was cut right through his eyelid and the doctor couldnt find an intact piece of the eyelid to put his needle in.

Lennox Lewis WKO1. Wlad is very good with a great punch and a very quick and long jab but he doesn't have the chin. Based on tapes Lennox would see he'd jump on Klitschko to finish him off - and he would. His brother is another stroy. Vitali is not that sound technically but his heart and chin is way better, as well as his punch output. Lennox TKO5 Vitali, probably ref stops fight after those huge uppercuts which Lennox would throw from the first round not the 4th in their 2003 fight.

Wladimir's technique and accuracy with Vitali's power and chin would be a killer combo. But they're two person and both have weaknesses Lennox would easily use against them.

That was Vitali's personal doctor, talking about the injury after-the-fact.

The doctor at the fight (ie. the only doctor whose opinion matters in terms of stopping the fight) let the fight go for several rounds and only stopped it when Vitali could no longer see him when he stood to the side and asked Vitali to look without moving his head. Standard procedure to check whether a fighter's vision is impaired to the extent where he cannot adequately defend himself.

Vitali could not adequately defend himself from Lennox's best punch - the right hand, so the doctor saved him from further damage.

Result and bottom line: Lewis TKO Vitali. :deal

You all (not specifically you, Widdow) need to build a bridge...

Lennox knocks Wlad out easily -- not because of his chin either. Lennox is a far better boxer than Wlad and that says alot because Wlad is the best boxing HW out there today.

Vitali took a punch from Sanders and bounced off the ropes and tripped. It wasn't called a knockdown because it wasn't, plain & simple.

If the ropes are the only thing stopping you from falling over, then it's a knockdown.

Apart from a truly insane Jones nuthugger these Klit's seem to inspire the most insanity on the boards.

Who said that the ropes were the only thing holding him up? Reading comprehension isn't your thing huh?!

I said he bounced off the ropes, perfectly legal BTW, and he slipped/tripped. Watch the end of the first round, it's faiurly self explanatory.............even for the haters :D
