When wlad fight puritty he was 22 and same age Lewis was not even pro...Puritty's record was not good, but he was lost Kirk Johnsson UD, Rahman UD,Grant UD, Sanders UD,Donald UD, Byrd UD and Morrison Draw..name fighters and a couple not so good fighters.

If Lennox sells out early, Wlad knocks him the **** out. Those wide shots, and how open Lennox left himself when he opened up? That's taking candy from a baby and begging to get crushed by the straight right. It's not like Lennox never got hit or had a Monzon-like chin, either.

If Lennox tries anything close to trying to take him out early, Wlad destroys him.

:yep Well actually your right in the fact that the mentioned fighters avoided LL ! They waited until LL got koed in the fluke and declared him not worthy ! Now to lets see ???? Oh yes thats exactly what LL did to VLAD ! :deal Id favour LL but this is a pickum fight ! I quess LL seems to getting passes on his short coming now that he has been retired for some time ! In typical status quo fashion !:patsch

i think the poll results are pretty fair. lewis should be a clear favorite but wlad has the power and skill to send lennox's head spinning if he gets reckless. that's why i would think it would go the cards with lennox winning due to forcing most of the action. 75-25 in favor of lennox is about the right odds at this point in time.

again, lennox was far too intelligent to just rush in and fire reckless shots. wlad has superior footwork to guys like golota and grant who were not skilled defensive fighters. i can see lennox scoring a late stoppage but i think we see a full 12 rounds. these are two very skilled big men but lennox has a lot of intagibles in his favor.

:smoke I see your point but must disagree on your outcome ! LL was outboxed by guys like BRUNO and had close matche swith guys far less skilled then VLAD ! LL either gets VLAD out of there or he gets koed or decisioned ! VLAD has never even been close to being boxed on even terms ( Ko him or lose badly ) ! At this point Id favour LL by mid ko ! But VLAD in my opinion has it if LL doesnt get this ko ! Its a dam hard fight to predict ! Here it seems that LL gets his shortcomings forgiven while VLAD gets his amplified ! :good

it's conceivable wlad could outbox him for 12 rounds. i think he has the faster hands but lennox has the heavier hands. wlad can use his footwork to shoot in and out of the pocket, unload his shots and get out. If Lennox gets his combos off inside though, wlad is in big trouble. The lack of a reliable uppercut is key imo.

wlad wants to keep it an outside battle where his handspeed would give him the edge but lennox can more than hold his own from distance.

Wlad would have to fight a near perfect fight though. Tie up to completely neutralize lewis' inside game. Move and box for 12 full rounds because once it becomes a slow paced fight, Lennox will take over with his better offensive arsenal. The truly amazing thing about lewis is his ability to fire his shots from all kinds of angles.

basically, i just think wlad's methodiacal and conservative style will make a decision win pretty hard to accomplish since Lewis will be the one pressing the action.

wlad's pre-sanders style might give him a much better chance. his faster hands would enable him to land first but lennox's chin while not granite was solid. Lewis and Tyson are just terrible matchups for Wlad at this point.

:good Again I respect your opinion but LL didnt have a better variety of punches ! He had a better uppercut and thats it ! VLAD has the faster and staighter righthand and the faster and harder hook and jab ! Take a closer look at Lls carreer and you will see a guy who was every bit as methopdical as VLAD ! the intanagable LL has in his favour is his ability to win wars which VLAD hasnt been able to do thus far ! So yes VLAD would haved to fight the perfect fight but the same could be said for LL who would haved to deal with more firepower then he ever faced in his carreer ! And of cource this also goes for VLAD ! :good

    Just curious....who would Manny train??
    Lenox wasn't quite as mechanical
My pick for Lenox is based on my feelings that Lewis was a better ring general, puts punches together better, and was more resilient...maybe slightly more intelligent as well
