Its funny the likes of ***an and Prescott are PPV for Sky yet Bradley WBO/WBC Champion and Judah IBF Champion are not, is it because of the 4:00am start or they are not good enough for PPV makes me wonder if these are the factors.

Or was it back then Mr W arren was promoting the fights, you know as his last card even if his fights are called off Sky would never degrade his card no way.

Sky are being hypocrites, there is a clear case of double standards here. They refuse to show the McCloskey fight, which was a world title defense because of the supposed quality of the undercard (also included a domestic defense) yet show the ****** 'megacard' rubbish on PPV a couple of weeks later where the headline bout was a domestic non-title dust-up:huh. In fact that the order of that card shows just how little even Frank rated the Cleverly title shot....

So now if Sky are saying that neither a major unification fight with Bradley or Judah is PPV worthy for Khan, what fights would be? A Mayweather fight? And how many of those would there be? What a joke, yes Team Khan are a bunch of taxi-driving cowboys but SKY's actions speak far louder by continuing to broadcast all of ******'s farcical cards on PPV. Who said SKY wouldn't bend over for any promoter, just as long as his initials are FW. :deal I wonder if Frank has been slipping Barney Francis over at SKY any stuffed brown manila envelopes....

Was not 2008/2009 we were deep in recession and now 2011 we are in recovery.

Is not the fact Sky should of never put them fights back then on PPV so then now Team Khan wont be so pushy about PPV now?

Surely the level of opponents is world class now yet Sky dont want to pick up due to start time?

Glad someone sees this also, i am not saying Team Khan are right, but this is business and Sky got one rule for W arren and others for others.

Well no, the financial crisis took hold in late 2008, but the actual effects take time to propagate through. Recovery doesn't necessarily mean things are great.

You need to think of it not in terms of boxing, but in terms of entertainment.
Someone being world class doesn't equate to being PPV. It's not about how good you box, it's about how much exposure they have and how much entertainment that fighter is though to provide.

You don't just go onto PPV and from there you are on it for life. SKY put Khan on PPV because he was at the level whereby at UK primetime it was capable of being worthwhile, only just however. Now in the current situation, unless it has a strong card to build an event around, it doesn't really make it financially viable over other options.

FW gets on PPV because (although it doesn't always work out in the end) he builds events that meet the requirements. Time and time again they prove to be more successful than they would on regular SS

Seems so, in fact anybody remember the last time a FW Promotion got shunted off PPV onto SS1, SS2 or SS3 if ever??? In fact when did Fwank last hold a non-PPV for the good of the fans? :huh

You are clearly talking at your arse if you think FW's last card was PPV worthy:patsch

So now its no longer the quality of the boxing but the entertainment value that matters..... Well f*ck me you must be a FW lackey because when the hell has Fwank ever given a toss about the quality of the boxing on his promotions!

I dunno' who he is, but he's obviously a stats and Tv rights guy....seems to know little about the actual sport but more about the marketability of some fighters.

Which is fair enough, but he's of little use to this forum rather than giving it the big I am :deal
