I have no enquiries, but thanks for confirming you are not Adam Smith, I will stop with the ludicrous insults now I have got a response :good

Out of interest, do you work for Sky? I've never seen anything other than TV-related posts from you, which has been noticed by a lot of posters.

I have had HD box for over a year got a expensive 50in Sony LCD tv I can tell you HD makes a big difference in picture quality.

I think it's only fair in this day and age to ask for HD when you are paying £14.95 should offer it in HD also as the year is now 2011 Primetime, even channel five is offered in HD for hevens sake.

I don't work for SKY. But my involvement with Boxing is in that side of things, rather than with anything that occurs in the ring.

Unlike the majority of the armchair boxers on here who talk like they have done a 5 year apprenticeship with Freddie Roach and yet have never been for a jog let alone in a ring, I prefer to talk about things I understand.

That's fair enough, hopefully you can use your position to try and help out the boxing fans in this country, which as you can see, are a spirited bunch.

Just a quick question, to the guy who works for primetime, forget his name. But what advertising exactly did you do to protome the Froch fights you guys had? I dont remember a single advert on any other broadcast channel.

Do you honestly expect the average sky customer to know an event is on by searching for your channel and waiting for an advert.

Also how is 60,000 viewers for a home world title fight for amir khan good? If you had of charge £7.50 you would have got more than double that figure. But no £15 top whack.

I understand your business model, as many have already posted. You buy up what left from sky, the khan teams mismanagment of his career has left him lumbered on your channel, "he's too good not to be on ppv" is clearly their stance.

But be honest. Primetime have NO regard for helping the sport of boxing. Just themselves.....Which is good business, just dont pretend to be some sort of saviour in boxing, far from. Primetime imo is bad for the sport in this country.

Primetime has a secret/special deal with Goldenboy, Oscar De La Hoya just couldnt keep quiet about it at the Khan McCloskey post fight presser, He talked of a "special relationship" with Primetime, I think Primetime have gotten some kind of exclusivity with regard to some Goldenboy fights, Being the only channel in the UK that can show them. For Primetime this is a godsend because they get the biggest fights and a certain oneupmanship over Sky.

One thing is for sure Primetime has benefitted massively by Khan coming to them, They now get to show not only Khan fights but other goldenboy fights. Khan is a the golden goose for Primetime.

Then why arent they showing the ryan rhodes fight alvarez fight, this is golden boy.

They arent showing devon alexander from what i understand either. Oh and haye klitschko is a golden boy join venture. Can guarentee mayweather ortiz will be on sky.

So not sure where the "special deal" comes from? Or if it exists, doesnt seem to.

    A bit above my station.

Personally I think the people who can help British Boxing the most are the fighters themselves. Going in the ring and getting victories and just smiling and nodding might get them a win on their record, but it hardly inspires the general public who after all are the key to any revival in interest. Boxers need to develop their out of the ring persona and realise it's an entertainment industry. It makes me laugh when there are posts on here about a Boxing saying or doing something, and people saying he should do his talking in the ring and so on. It's precisely what they need to be doing. Broadcasters and Promoters can only do so much.

As much as I consider Tyson Fury to be a novelty boxer like Butterbean, he's doing a better job of the above than most.
